    Abstract: The present invention provides a brush for application of nail polish to the fingernails. The brush comprises a distal portion tapered in width and thickness to form a wedge-shaped or pointed tip. This tapered shape allows the use of a relatively thick brush, capable of holding a sufficient amount of nail polish to completely coat a single fingernail, while permitting the coating of a fingernail without getting nail polish in surrounding tissue.
