Abstract: This is Grandma's version of the old time favorite sidewalk game for the young and the young at heart. Grandma's Hop Scotch is an excellent game for Balance, Exercise, Concentration and Fun. When played in its entirety the winner is the player who can hop or jump over the squares owned by other players and still keep his or her balance without stepping on a line or falling. There can be as many players as you choose. The more the merrier. Boys and girls are the most likely to select this game for exercise, balance and fun. My hopscotch pouch contains a new rubber heel used as a tossing tool, can be shared or each player may have their own. Also included are two pieces of chalk and a diagram of the court I have chosen. I believe this game is a great source of sportsmanship and friendship.
