    Abstract: A device for facilitating the movement by a patient of an incapacitated limb comprising, a base adapted to be supported on the thigh of the patient's limb, a lever pivoted to the base, a lifter member attached to the lever and adapted for coupling to the patient's limb generally adjacent the distal end thereof, for connecting the limb to the lever, thereby enabling the patient to shift the incapacitated limb by acutuation of the lever, and wherein the lever and the lifter member include manually actuatable mechanism for selectively adjusting the lengths thereof, for accommodating the device to different sizes of patients.
