Abstract: In a running analysis system, an information acquirer acquires position information and motion information of a user as a runner, measured at each point of passage in a run by a certain measurement device. A measurement value acquirer acquires measurement values of multiple types of motion analysis indices indicating a running motion state of a user for each certain unit measurement section, based on the position information and the motion information chronologically consecutive. A classification processing unit classifies measurement values in multiple measurement sections for each type of motion analysis indices, using a certain classification method for classification by property. A mode determination unit determines an output mode of a classified measurement value based on comparison with a certain comparison target. An output unit is capable of outputting at least information regarding the classified measurement value, based on the determined output mode.

An environment acquirer acquires environment information indicating running environment of the runner. An information storage unit stores acquired position information together with information on the acquisition date and time. An adjustment unit adjusts, based on the environment information, a running time or distance calculated with the position information such as to correct a difference in the running load due to running environment that may occur between the runner and another runner running with the same certain time set to the starting point of a running time. An output unit displays a result of comparison between the adjusted running time or distance and adjusted running time or distance of another runner running with the same certain time set to the starting point of a running time.

Abstract: An exercise improvement guidance device includes: a hierarchical index storage unit that stores hierarchized indexes for improvement of an exercise motion; a problem index identification unit that evaluates the hierarchized indexes based on measurement data during an exercise and identifies a problem index; and a guidance information generating unit that generates guidance information for improvement of the problem index identified by the problem index identification unit. With the exercise improvement guidance device, a problem that leads to effective improvement of exercise motions can be identified, and the guidance information can be generated.

Abstract: An exercise analysis device includes: a group classification unit that classifies activity data, as which measurement data associated with an exercise motion is recorded together with certain reference data that changes during exercise, into multiple groups based on the reference data; a representative data generating unit that generates representative data for the activity data in each of the multiple groups; and a tendency analysis unit that analyzes a tendency of the representative data with respect to the reference data in the multiple groups. With the exercise analysis device, exercise motions can be analyzed appropriately in consideration of the tendency of the entire exercise.
