    Abstract: A body weight unloading apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention includes a first actuator, a second actuator, a first support member, a second support member, a sensor for measuring the imbalance between floor reaction forces respectively acting on the legs of a user, and a control device for controlling operations of the actuators. One end of the support members is respectively connected to the actuators, and the other end of the support members is fitted to the user such that unloading forces that are supplied by the actuators respectively act on the legs of the user. The control device controls the actuators so as to respectively generate unloading forces determined according to the imbalance between the floor reaction forces.

    Abstract: According to a lighting fixture of an aspect of the present invention, only by holding the first and second strip-shaped luminous bodies on the strip-shaped luminous body holding device with the first and second strip-shaped luminous bodies being curved into a predetermined shape, the plurality of point light sources of the first strip-shaped luminous body and the plurality of point light sources of the second strip-shaped luminous body can be mounted at predetermined positions in appropriate postures (for example, such positions and postures as to illuminate a predetermined area of the front of the lighting fixture) at once. That is, each of the point light sources can be stereoscopically disposed at a predetermined position in an appropriate posture in a most expeditious manner. Also, the lighting fixture of novel visual quality capable of producing a stereoscopic effect by the real image can be provided.

    Abstract: A vehicle lamp can include a light source, a reflector having a parabolic reflective surface for reflecting light beams from the light source, and a lens formed in a generally rectangular shape (i.e., square, rectangular, substantially square, substantially rectangular). The lens can include a plurality of lens cut portions for diffusing the generally parallel light beams from the reflector. The principal optical axis of the vehicle lamp can be aligned with the center of the lens. A plurality of ridge lines or valley lines can extend radially from the principal optical axis to divide the generally rectangular lens into at least a first lens cut portion, a second lens cut portion, a third lens cut portion, and a fourth lens cut portion. The first lens cut portion can be a substantial mirror image of the second lens cut portion, and the third lens cut portion can be a substantial mirror image of the fourth lens cut portion.
