  • Publication number: 20130257643
Abstract: A radar apparatus includes a transmitting antenna, a triangular wave generating unit that generates a first modulated wave and a second modulated wave which are transmitted from the transmitting antenna at a predetermined interval, a receiving antenna that receives radio waves obtained by causing an object to reflect the transmitted first and second modulated waves, and a signal intensity calculating unit that makes a determination, on peaks equal to or greater than a predetermined value appearing in received signals which are received by the receiving antenna and which correspond to the first and second modulated waves, as to whether the peaks are due to a signal obtained by causing the object to reflect the transmitted wave emitted from a host radar device or the peaks are due to a signal obtained by causing a reflecting object including the object to reflect the transmitted wave emitted from another radar device.

  • Patent number: 7352335
Abstract: A horn antenna part of a radar apparatus is made of a heat emitting material and includes: an antenna body part having a plurality of horn parts arranged in an array form, wherein each horn part is open toward a front surface of the apparatus, and has a diameter which gradually increases toward the front surface; and a feeder part including a waveguide which communicates with the horn parts, wherein the feeder part is connected to the antenna body part. The radar apparatus also includes: a wireless part for generating a high-frequency signal supplied to the feeder part, and converting a reflected high-frequency signal to a medium-frequency signal; and a circuit part for controlling the high-frequency signal and processing the medium-frequency signal. At least one of the wireless part and the circuit part is arranged in a manner such that it contacts the feeder part.

  • Patent number: 5699235
Abstract: An electronic control board assembly has a large-current control unit and a small-current control unit connected to the large-current control unit. The large-current control unit has an insert-molded board with lead frames embedded therein. The insert-molded board has a first component mounting surface and a first component soldering surface facing away therefrom. A first group of components are mounted on the first component mounting surface and have leads extending through the insert-molded board and soldered to the lead frames. The small-current control unit has a printed wiring board which has a second component mounting surface and a second component soldering surface facing away therefrom. A second group of components are mounted on the second component mounting surface and have leads extending through the printed wiring board and soldered to interconnections patterned on the second component soldering surface.
