  • Patent number: 10716266
Abstract: A water supply apparatus is arranged inside a house body and includes a watering apparatus that performs watering to a cluster of plants from above. The watering apparatus supplies water to the plants and controls an ambient temperature of the plants due to heat transfer utilizing vaporization heat by watering. A control apparatus acquires an environment information including the ambient temperature of the plants from an environment sensor, and performs the watering by driving the water supply apparatus in a watering period determined according to the environment information, and prohibits the watering by the water supply apparatus in an idle period that is set after the watering period so as to obtain a temperature and a humidity appropriate for growth of the plants.

  • Patent number: 9826579
Abstract: A lighting system includes an EL unit having a light emitter, a holding frame that holds the EL unit, and a control unit that controls lighting of the EL unit, wherein the holding frame includes a rail-shaped conductive member, and power and communication signals are transmitted between the control unit and the EL unit through the conductive member. With this configuration, since the connection between the control unit and the EL unit is made by the conductive member provided on the holding frame, which holds the EL unit, space for wiring in a residential space can be reduced. Further, simply by placing the holding frame on a mounting surface and attaching the EL unit and the control unit to the holding frame, they are connected. Therefore, without special skills, a resident can install the lighting system as appropriate and can easily replace the EL unit.

  • Publication number: 20150164004
Abstract: An agricultural greenhouse includes a house body and a curtain arranged along a roof inside the house body. The curtain is supported by a support part extended in the depth direction (Y-axis direction) of the house body and is configured be opened and closed in the depth direction along the support part. One end in the depth direction is a fixed end, and the other end is a free end. The curtain is opened and closed in the depth direction along the support part by fixing the fixed end at a regular position and moving the free end in the depth direction with movement of a pulley moving on the support part. Therefore, the curtain is in full-opened state when the free end is closest to the fixed end, and is in full-closed state when the free end is farthest away from the fixed end.

  • Publication number: 20140247584
Abstract: A light-emitting device includes a planar light-emitting unit having a light-emitting surface and a non-light-emitting surface, a planar solar power generator having a light-receiving surface and a non-light-receiving surface, and a rechargeable battery. The light-emitting unit and the solar power generator are arranged so that the non-light-emitting surface and the non-light-receiving surface face each other, thereby forming a light-electricity converter. The light-emitting device includes an orientation sensor configured to sense an orientation of the light-electricity converter, and a connection switch arranged between the light-emitting unit and the solar power generator. The connection switch is configured to connect the rechargeable battery: to the solar power generator when the orientation sensor detects that the light-receiving surface faces toward a first direction; and to the light-emitting unit when the orientation sensor detects that the light-emitting surface faces toward the first direction.

  • Patent number: 7676952
Abstract: A hair dryer having a static atomizing device, which has the capability of generating an electrostatically charged microparticle mist of 3 nm to 100 nm. The static atomizing device has a pair of an atomizing electrode and a counter electrode, a tank for storing a liquid such as water; a liquid transport member for transport water from the tank to the atomizing electrode according to capillary phenomenon, and a voltage applying unit. When a high voltage is applied between the atomizing electrode and the counter electrode, while water being supplied to the atomizing electrode through the liquid transport member, the electrostatically charged microparticle mist is generated.

  • Patent number: 7350317
Abstract: In an electrostatic atomizing hairdryer, electrostatically atomized mist generated in an electrostatic atomizing unit is effectively scattered into airflow emitted from a main body of the hairdryer so that the mist can be sprayed to hair uniformly and a time necessary for treatment of hair can be shortened. A tank constituting the electrostatic atomizing unit is detachably provided on a portion in the vicinity of an outer periphery of the main body, and an electrode unit for generating the mist is provided in a path of airflow sucked in an inside of the main body so as to be insulated from heat of a heating unit by an adiabator. A mist emitting opening from which the mist is emitted is disposed on a plane substantially the same as and at substantially the center of an air exit opening of the main body. Thereby, the mist emitted from the mist emitting opening is effectively scattered into the airflow emitted from the air exit opening.
