Patent number: 9826579Abstract: A lighting system includes an EL unit having a light emitter, a holding frame that holds the EL unit, and a control unit that controls lighting of the EL unit, wherein the holding frame includes a rail-shaped conductive member, and power and communication signals are transmitted between the control unit and the EL unit through the conductive member. With this configuration, since the connection between the control unit and the EL unit is made by the conductive member provided on the holding frame, which holds the EL unit, space for wiring in a residential space can be reduced. Further, simply by placing the holding frame on a mounting surface and attaching the EL unit and the control unit to the holding frame, they are connected. Therefore, without special skills, a resident can install the lighting system as appropriate and can easily replace the EL unit.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2012Date of Patent: November 21, 2017Assignee: PANASONIC INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CO., LTD.Inventors: Naofumi Kodama, Kazufumi Oogi, Tosiharu Suenaga

Publication number: 20150164004Abstract: An agricultural greenhouse includes a house body and a curtain arranged along a roof inside the house body. The curtain is supported by a support part extended in the depth direction (Y-axis direction) of the house body and is configured be opened and closed in the depth direction along the support part. One end in the depth direction is a fixed end, and the other end is a free end. The curtain is opened and closed in the depth direction along the support part by fixing the fixed end at a regular position and moving the free end in the depth direction with movement of a pulley moving on the support part. Therefore, the curtain is in full-opened state when the free end is closest to the fixed end, and is in full-closed state when the free end is farthest away from the fixed end.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2013Publication date: June 18, 2015Applicant: PANASONIC INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CO., LTD.Inventors: Naofumi Kodama, Takayoshi Tanizawa, Ikumasa Kishizoe

Publication number: 20140247584Abstract: A light-emitting device includes a planar light-emitting unit having a light-emitting surface and a non-light-emitting surface, a planar solar power generator having a light-receiving surface and a non-light-receiving surface, and a rechargeable battery. The light-emitting unit and the solar power generator are arranged so that the non-light-emitting surface and the non-light-receiving surface face each other, thereby forming a light-electricity converter. The light-emitting device includes an orientation sensor configured to sense an orientation of the light-electricity converter, and a connection switch arranged between the light-emitting unit and the solar power generator. The connection switch is configured to connect the rechargeable battery: to the solar power generator when the orientation sensor detects that the light-receiving surface faces toward a first direction; and to the light-emitting unit when the orientation sensor detects that the light-emitting surface faces toward the first direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2012Publication date: September 4, 2014Applicant: PANASONIC CORPORATIONInventors: Naofumi Kodama, Toshiharu Suenaga, Masato Sonoda
