  • Patent number: 8125232
Abstract: In a capacitive sensing device for detecting a change in capacitance of an electrode which is caused by contact with a human body, the improvement of determination speed may be enabled. M (m is an integer satisfying n?m?2) electrodes are selected from n (n is an integer equal to or larger than two) electrodes. Capacitors connected to the m electrodes are discharged in parallel during a predetermined period, and then charged. During the charging period, a potential of each of the m electrodes is compared with a reference potential. A difference between capacitance values of the capacitors connected to the m electrodes is determined based on a result obtained by the comparison between the m electrodes.

  • Publication number: 20110109201
Abstract: A manual control device with a power generation function includes a manual input unit of a touch sensor type, a control unit that detects a direction input in the manual input unit and performs a control operation according to the direction, a power generation unit that is formed of piezoelectric material for power generation and arranged to a bottom side of the manual input unit, a charge unit that charges electric power from the power generation unit, and a power supply unit that supplies the electric power from the charge unit to the control unit. The operation start control unit supplies an operation instruction to the power supply unit after predetermined delay time since the electric power supply from the power generation unit to the charge unit is detected.

  • Patent number: 7856103
Abstract: A microcontroller includes a program memory configured to store a program group and a first encryption key; a CPU; and an identification (ID) storage section configured to store an identification data peculiar to a user of the microcontroller. The CPU executes the program group to generate a second encryption key based on the identification data and the first encryption key and to encrypt a random number with the second encryption key.
