  • Publication number: 20230224180
Abstract: A recording apparatus receives image data and time information that are obtained by capturing a conference from a start time of the conference, sets a specific object from the image data as a target image, detects an event during the conference, and records detection timing of the event, time information in a past before the detection timing, and the image data in association with the time information.

  • Patent number: 7929720
Abstract: A position detecting system capable of detecting the position of a user as a listener in a simple manner. The position detecting system comprises a speaker system comprising a plurality of spatially-arranged speakers including at least a first speaker and a second speaker, a user terminal apparatus transmits a wireless signal to the speaker apparatus, and a position detecting apparatus which is provided in the side of the speaker apparatus. The position detecting apparatus computes the position of the user terminal apparatus based on a first time elapsed since the first speaker outputs a first measurement sound signal and until a receiving command transmitted by the user terminal apparatus in response to receiving the first measurement sound signal is received, and a second time elapsed since the second speaker outputs a second measurement sound signal and until a receiving command transmitted by the user terminal apparatus in response to receiving the second measurement sound signal is received.

  • Publication number: 20090197224
Abstract: There is provided a language learning apparatus, which includes an inputting portion to which a voice signal is input, a time stretching portion which compresses or expands the voice signal in a time axis direction such that a phonation period of a voice indicated by the voice signal input into the inputting portion is matched with a phonation period of a model voice, a specifying portion which compares the voice signal which is compressed or expanded by the time stretching portion with a voice signal indicating the model voice to specify a different part between the both voice signals, a signal processing portion which applies a signal processing of emphasizing the different part specified by the specifying portion to one of the voice signal input into the inputting portion and the voice signal indicating the model voice, and an outputting portion which outputs a voice signal to which the signal processing is applied by the signal processing portion.

  • Publication number: 20060083387
Abstract: A specific sound playback apparatus buffers sound collected by a microphone in a sound storage section and determines the presence or absence of a phrase or a sound pattern previously registered in a sound pattern registration section. Upon detection of the registered phrase or sound pattern, the specific sound playback apparatus reads the sound from just before recording of the phrase or the sound pattern from the sound storage section and produces the sound from a loudspeaker. Therefore, a user usually can live in a house (room) where outdoor noise is insulated and silence is kept and if the sound containing the registered phrase or sound pattern is produced outdoor, the specific sound playback apparatus detects it and produces the recorded sound, so that the user does not fail to hear the registered phrase, etc.

  • Patent number: 5572443
Abstract: An acoustic characteristic correction device includes a section for setting a desired characteristic of a response characteristic in a reproduction system including a sound field, a section for outputting information of a measured characteristic of the response characteristic, a section for computing a correction characteristic for realizing the desired characteristic on the basis of the desired characteristic and the measured characteristic, and a section for imparting the computed correction characteristic to a sound signal to be reproduced. The device may further includes a display section for displaying the set desired characteristic, a section for controlling the level or frequency of the computed correction characteristic, a section for imparting a compensation characteristic to the correction characteristic. Results of measurement at plural points for plural measuring times may be stored and an average value of the results of measurement may be used as a measuring signal.
