Abstract: When a browser on a user terminal operated by a seller sends a file of a content to be sold or a link destination URL, indicating the location of the content and information designating its sale price and charging condition to a WWW server on a support server machine, a product registration CGI generates a unique product number, stores thus generated product number, the sale price and the charging condition, path to the file of the content to be sold or the link destination URL in a product information table with then corresponding to one another, issues a product URL including the generated product number and URL of the sale CGI, and sends the product URL to the user terminal.
