Abstract: A platelet function increment agent including a prostaglandin I2 derivative as an active ingredient, and a therapeutic method for thrombocytopathy using the same. The platelet function increment agent of the present invention does not induce platelet aggregation, has superior activating action on platelets and is greatly useful as a platelet function increment agent.

Abstract: Novel compounds having strong TXA.sub.2 receptor antagonist activities and PGI.sub.2 receptor agonist activities, which are effective for therapy and prevention of diseases related to TXA.sub.2, are disclosed. Abstract: An automatic teller machine according to this invention is equipped with a receiving/dispensing unit in a customer panel of a main body of the machine. The receiving/dispensing unit has a rotary body, which defines a gear, and an openable shutter. One ends of bill guides provided in the rotary body serve as a receiving opening through which bills can be received together. The rotary body is also provided with a unit for separating and feeding one by one the bills so received and also with a feed-in opening for feeding the thus-separated bills into the main body. A drive unit is provided to rotate the rotary body via the gear, whereby the bill guides are stopped at a receiving/dispensing position to perform a receiving/dispensing procedure.

Abstract: An apparatus for handling strips of paper removably incorporated in paper strip handling equipment. The apparatus has a box having a window for handling strips of paper, a shutter section for opening and closing the window, a drum section having therein a pooling section for temporarily accommodating strips of paper, and an anti-intrusion portion provided on either one of opposite edges of the shutter section with respect to the opening and closing direction of the shutter for preventing a strip of paper, trash or similar alien substance from being inserted in the apparatus through a clearance formed between the box and the shutter section.

Abstract: A power window control apparatus has a transmitter, detachably mounted to a fixed member in a compartment, for transmitting coded infrared ray signals corresponding to opening/closing operations of right and left windows of a vehicle and a receiver fixed in the compartment, the receiver being provided with a manual switch for driving the relay circuit independently of the signal from the transmitter, a reset circuit for resetting the decoder for a predetermined period of time after an ignition switch is turned on, and a braking circuit for braking a corresponding one of motors when a driver releases a transmitter switch.
