Patent number: 7561301Abstract: A printing system is designed to reduce the overall time and the cost required for printing patterns on objects such as musical instruments and prevents printed patterns from being partially extended or distorted. Image data representing prescribed patterns are processed in response to object form data representing the form of an object, wherein upon receipt of a user's print instruction, an RGB color inkjet printer ejects ink onto a prescribed surface of the object on the basis of the processed image data. Image data can be produced by picking up an image of another surface of the object, which is transferred onto the prescribed surface of the object, thus establishing a sense of unity in visual sensation therebetween. Alternatively, image data can be processed in correspondence with the selected surface of the object, so that the prescribed image is printed on the selected surface of the object.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2004Date of Patent: July 14, 2009Assignee: Yamaha CorporationInventors: Hisayoshi Osumi, Takashi Watanabe, Toshiyuki Yamamura, Satoshi Mine, Kaoru Nakajima, Naohisa Mori

Patent number: 7348477Abstract: Casing of an electronic keyboard musical instrument includes two discrete parts: a main casing section; and a rear casing section. The main casing section includes a bottom plate having a keyboard section placed thereon, a keyslip portion extending upward from the bottom plate in front of the keyboard section, and left and right side plates extending upward from the bottom plate at left and right sides of the keyboard section. The rear casing section includes a roof plate forming a rear upper surface of the casing, and a back plate extending downward from a rear edge of the roof plate. The rear casing section is detachably attached to the main casing section by means of a slidingly-attaching structure for slidingly attaching the rear casing section to the left and right side plates of the main casing section.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2005Date of Patent: March 25, 2008Assignee: Yamaha CorporationInventors: Hideki Ishihara, Naohisa Mori

Patent number: 6995308Abstract: There is provided an electric keyboard assembly having a construction which is capable of reducing a height of a keyboard and at the same time facilitating key scaling to key-touch response while maintaining the degree of freedom in designing the keyboard. A key is pivotally moved by a key depressing operation. A seesaw-type mass member having a front extension and a rear extension each extending from a pivot-receiving portion thereof, and a tone-generating position adjustment screw fitted in the front extension is pivotally moved about the pivot-receiving portion by a driving force generated by depression of the key and received via the tone-generating position adjustment screw. The front extension of the mass member pops up to a level higher than the key when the key is depressed. A front weight and a back weight are arranged separately in the front extension and in the rear extension, respectively.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2001Date of Patent: February 7, 2006Assignee: Yamaha CorporationInventors: Kenichi Nishida, Naohisa Mori, Hideki Ishihara
