  • Patent number: 7723882
Abstract: A closer is configured into a generally cylindrical shape and is provided to a rotatable shaft of an electric motor to rotate integrally with the rotatable shaft relative to a housing. The closer is at least partially received in an opening of a bearing receiver of the housing, which receives a bearing. The closer has an opposed end surface, which is axially opposed to an outer end surface of the bearing and defines a lubricant holding space in cooperation with the outer end surface of the bearing, an inner peripheral surface of the bearing receiver and an outer peripheral surface of the rotatable shaft. A lubricant is applied to the outer end surface of the bearing.

  • Patent number: 7402926
Abstract: An actuator device includes a drive motor, a reduction mechanism, which includes gears, an output shaft coupled to the reduction mechanism, and a connector assembly. The connector assembly includes a sensor accommodating portion for accommodating a sensor, which detects the rotation angle of the output shaft, and a connector portion, which includes connector pins connected to an external connector, and a power supply portion, which includes power supply terminals connected to the drive motor. The sensor accommodating portion, the connector portion, and the power supply portion are integrally formed. The power supply terminals and the connector pins are formed of a single conductive plate. The connector assembly is molded using resin to integrally incorporate the conductive plate. As a result, the actuator device that is easily assembled is obtained.

  • Patent number: 7235908
Abstract: A motor includes a motor housing and a rotor that is rotatably received in the motor housing. Holding portions hold the motor in a manner that limits turning of the motor housing around a rotational axis of the motor while permitting movement of the motor housing in a predetermined direction, which is perpendicular to the rotational axis of the motor.

  • Patent number: 6509661
Abstract: A motor includes a hollow yoke having an open end. A coupling member is coupled to the yoke so as to cover the open end of the yoke. A stator is accommodated in the yoke and has a receptacle. A rotor is received in the receptacle of the stator. A first bearing is arranged in the coupling member or the stator to rotatably support a first end of the rotor. A second bearing is formed integrally with the yoke to rotatably support a second end of the rotor.
