  • Patent number: 6472958
Abstract: A circuit that prevents a receiving signal from leaking to an LNB supply line to thereby deteriorate input VSWR characteristic includes a capacitor of about 1000 pF for removing noise and a capacitor of about 1 pF for passing a high frequency component which leaks to an LNB voltage supply line to the ground provided between the LNB voltage supply line and the ground. By the capacitor of about 1000 pF, a noise component included in the LNB voltage supply line is removed. Further, by the capacitor of about 1 pF, the high frequency signal component which leaks via a choke coil is bypassed to thereby reduce impedance of a node NA over a broad band and prevent a reflecting wave from being produced at the node NA and input VSWR from being deteriorated.

Abstract: The present invention prevents a receiving signal from leaking to an LNB supply line to thereby deteriorate input VSWR characteristic. A capacitor of about 1000 pF for removing noise and a capacitor of about 1 pF for flowing a high frequency component which leaks to an LNB voltage supply line to the ground, are provided between the LNB voltage supply line and the ground. By the capacitor of about 1000 pF, a noise component included in the LNB voltage supply line is removed. • Patent number: 6115471
Abstract: A client receives a remote installation service (RIS) activated by a browser through the Internet, and notifies an RIS server of a software number corresponding to an icon pointed to and clicked by a pointing device on a home page. The RIS server provides various services such as software distribution, online shopping, communications service, transaction service, etc. according to the information.

  • Patent number: 5842159
Abstract: A pattern matching rule for recognizing a weakly linked idiom is previously held in a pattern matching section. If a weakly linked idiom which is registered in the pattern matching rule and has separately placed portions is present in an input sentence, the pattern matching section recognizes the idiom. If the weakly linked idiom is recognized by the pattern matching section, the idiom is replaced by a series of symbolized pattern expressions in a replacing section. A sentence subjected to the replacement process in the replacing section is given to an analyzing section. The analyzing section treats the series of symbolized pattern expressions as one idiom and analyzes the sentence. As a result, the result of analysis in which the weakly linked idiom is adequately processed is obtained as an output of the analyzing section.

  • Patent number: 5361205
Abstract: An apparatus which translates a document (character string) having various kinds of typographical information, such as on a font size and on a font style, as character attributes, and reflects the typographical information attached to an original text of the document. The apparatus performs a morpheme analysis with typographical information saved, by regarding a piece of typographical information as a morpheme for a document having typographical information between characters. The apparatus judges typographical information attached to each character forming a morpheme after performing a morpheme analysis for a sentence having a piece of typographical information as a character attribute, and determines morpheme typographical information when characters forming a single morpheme carry different pieces of typographical information.

  • Patent number: 5295068
Abstract: A machine-translation/electronic-mail system comprises an electronic-mail receiving unit, an electronic-mail transmitting unit, a standard dictionary used in a machine translation process, and a private-use-word registering apparatus. The private-use-word registering apparatus comprises a word-definition recognition unit for recognizing a word-definition command for defining a private-use word used by a specified user, the word-definition command existing in an electronic mail containing a document, and a temporarily registering means for temporarily storing in a private-use word dictionary the private-use word having been extracted by the word-definition recognition unit, the private-use word dictionary being temporarily used in the translation as the private-use word dictionary.
