Abstract: A mail terminal has a tab section formed by bending and folding back a plate-like base material on itself. The tab section has a first flat plate section, a fold section which is formed at a side end of the first flat plate section by bending, and a second flat plate section which is extended from a side end of the fold section and which is superposed on the first flat plate section. At least one of the first flat plate section and the second flat plate section has a depressedly deformed section provided at the side end thereof which is located on the side opposite the fold section. The depressedly deformed section is depressed on the outer surface side and protrudes on the inner surface side.

Abstract: A connector is provided which is lightened and has a simplified structure. A connector 7 includes a first connector 3 having a first connector main body part 41, a plurality of first terminals protruding from an upper surface of the first connector main body part, a tubular part 29 protruding from the upper surface of the first connector main body part so as to surround the first terminals and first protrusions 43 provided to protrude outside the tubular part, and a second connector 5 having a second connector main body part 35, a plurality of second terminals 11 which are provided on a bottom surface of the second connector main body part and into which the plurality of first terminals are respectively inserted and a second protrusion 47 protruding from an upper surface of the second connector main body part.

Abstract: A connector terminal which. is accommodated in a terminal chamber in a connector housing and is engaged with a locking lance that is flexibly provided in the terminal chamber includes: a connection portion which is arranged on an opening side of the terminal chamber and is provided in a tubular shape; an engageable opening which is provided on the connection portion, and into which an engagement protrusion in the locking lance is inserted, thus the engageable opening is engaged with the engagement protrusion; and a restriction portion which is provided in the engageable opening, abuts against the engagement protrusion in the locking lance when the connection portion is moved in a direction so as to pall out of the terminal chamber, and which restricts the movement of the engagement protrusion in an insertion-releasing direction relative to the engageable opening.

Abstract: A connector includes a terminal reception chamber that is to receive a terminal therein and is provided with an opening on a connection part side of the terminal, a terminal support part that is provided on the opening side of the terminal reception chamber and is to support the terminal at an undersurface side thereof, and a locking lance that is flexibly provided in the terminal reception chamber and is to lock the terminal. The terminal is provided with a protruding engaged part along the overall width thereof such that the protruding engaged part protrudes below the terminal support part when supported by the terminal support part. The locking lance is provided with an engaging part that is positioned below the terminal support part and is to engage with the protruding engaged part. The engaging part is provided along the overall width of the terminal.

Abstract: In a connector of the invention, a female housing 30 which is adapted to accommodate a female connector terminal includes a female terminal locking lance (32) which prevents the dislocation of a female connector terminal accommodated in a female terminal accommodation hole (31), a tab insertion opening (33) through which a tab is inserted into a terminal fitting portion of the female connector terminal held in the female terminal accommodation hole (31), and a tapered guide surface (34) which is formed on an opening edge of the tab insertion opening (33), and further, the female terminal locking lance (32) is formed so as to deviate in a widthwise direction of the female connector terminal with respect to a center axis (C31) of the female terminal accommodation hole (31).

Abstract: Provide is a connector which can improve production efficiency and retention strength of a lance of a terminal receiving portion on a terminal fitting. A terminal fitting includes an electric wire connection portion, an electrical contact portion connected to a mating terminal fitting and a tube portion provided between the electric wire connection portion and the electrical contact portion, and a housing includes a terminal receiving portion. The housing has a lance having one end continued to an inner face of the terminal receiving portion and the other end being a free end and extending toward the tube portion. The tube portion includes an opening portion. An engagement portion engaging with the free end is provided to an edge of the opening portion adjacent to the electrical contact portion so as to project from the edge of the opening portion toward an inner side of the tube portion.

Abstract: A connection terminal includes a terminal fitting part that fits with a leading end portion of a mating connection terminal, a square tubular part that continues to a rear end of the terminal fitting part and a lance engagement surface that is formed on the square tubular part and that, when the connection terminal is inserted into a terminal accommodation hole of a connector housing, is contacted to a projected part of a lance provided in the terminal accommodation hole to prevent the connection terminal from disengaging from the terminal accommodation hole. The lance engagement surface is a hook-shaped engagement surface that is formed by an opening across a top wall of the square tubular part facing the lance and a sidewall part continuing to a side edge of the top wall.
