    Abstract: An electrically conductive material includes a polymeric substrate containing a group which can capture cuprous ion, a first sulfide consisting of copper sulfide, a second sulfide selected from silver sulfide and palladium sulfide, and a third sulfide selected from sulfides of Bi, Zn, In, V, Si, Sb, Al, Mn, Rb, Li, Tl, W, Ti, Cr, Mo, Y, Ge, Yb, La, Sm, Be, Sn, Zr, Mg, Ba, Nd, Cd and Ga, wherein the first, second and third sulfides are bound to the polymeric substrate. This material may be produced by treating the substrate with an aqeuous bath containing sources of the first, second and third metals and thiocyanate.
