    Abstract: A cooling structure of a battery pack includes an assembled battery including stacked battery modules, an intake passage, and a discharge passage. Ventilation passages extend between adjacent ones of the battery modules. The intake passage extends in a stacking direction of the battery modules and includes an intake port to draw in cooling air from a blower. The discharge passage extends in the stacking direction and includes a discharge port at a first end to discharge the cooling air, which flows through the ventilation passages, to the outside. The first end of the discharge passage and the intake port of the intake passage are located at the same side. The discharge passage is defined by a wall that includes a communication portion disposed at a position toward a second end of the discharge passage opposite to the first end to partially discharge air from the exhaust passage.

    Abstract: An onboard battery mounted in a front section of a space located behind a rearmost seat of an automobile includes: an assembly battery including electrode terminals arranged on a rear surface of the assembly battery in a vehicle frontward and rearward direction; and a battery case housing the assembly battery. A case rear-surface member forming a rear surface of the battery case is provided with a ridge portion that faces at least a part of a rear surface of the assembly battery in the vehicle frontward and rearward direction in a manner so as to avoid the electrode terminals, the ridge portion projecting toward the assembly battery. When the case rear-surface member moves toward the assembly battery, the ridge portion comes into contact with the assembly battery before the case rear-surface member applies force to the electrode terminals.

The battery pack has a battery stack, a cooling fan installed adjacent to the battery stack and having a fan opening formed in a top surface for taking in cooling air after cooling the battery stack, an upper case for covering the upper part of the battery stack and the cooling fan, and a junction duct for guiding the cooling air after cooling the battery stack to the fan opening. The junction duct is formed from the duct lower unit having an opening formed at a location facing the fan opening and one wall of the upper case in contact with a lower end and periphery of the duct lower unit.

A lead core wire of a lead wire includes a lead terminal portion crimp-connected to a heater terminal portion by a crimping member so that the lead core wire is placed in contact with the surface of the heater terminal portion within a film void part in the planar direction of the laminated sheet heater.

A first heater unit is provided with a first sheet heater, a first holding member holding it, and a first sheet placed between a lower surface of a first heater and the first holding member in such a manner as to be deformable in at least a direction of thickness of the first heater. The first heater is deformed when the first heater unit is fixed to the battery pack 50, thereby pressing the lower surface of the first heater to bring an upper surface of the first heater into close contact with an outer surface (a surface to be heated) of a spaced part of the battery pack.
