  • Patent number: 7489330
Abstract: The present invention has an object of realizing highly reliable search with high precision by obtaining a clear view image over a wide view. In particular, a reflection mirror is formed so as to correspond to an image pick-up element at a focus surface of a converging lens of an image pick-up camera and the image pick-up camera is arranged to be capable of freely performing scanning by a scanning mechanism portion. As a result, with the image pick-up camera kept performing linear scanning, the reflection mirror performs triangular scanning in a direction opposite to the scanning direction of the image pick-up camera for every frame cycle T and a light wave taken in by the converging lens is introduced to the image pick-up element for every one frame, thereby to obtain a static view image. The desired object is thus achieved.

  • Publication number: 20070016453
Abstract: In a medical information management system, an electronic pen acquires medical information data inputted in handwriting onto a form. A graphic identification unit identifies a graphic area defined by a graphic represented by graphic data contained in the medical information, based on the acquired medical information data. A comment area identification unit identifies a comment area located in a predetermined position relative to the identified graphic area. A comment data identification unit identifies comment data inputted in handwriting to the comment area, among the acquired medical information data. A storage unit stores the acquired medical information data and the identified comment data in a manner that associates the acquired medical information data with the identified comment data.

  • Patent number: 6181271
Abstract: The invention comprises a mulli-wave radar system for obtaining first target position information of a flying object by capturing and tracking the flying object from a maximum detection distance, a stereo-camera system for taking over the tracking of the flying object in the vicinity of a landing point by acquiring the first target position information of the flying object from the milli-wave radar system, and obtaining second target position information having higher precision than the first target position information, and a controller for managing the first target position information of the milli-wave radar system and the second target position information of the stereo-camera system, controlling the milli-wave radar system to capture and track the flying object to the vicinity of the landing point, and controlling the stereo-camera system to capture and track the flying object at the time of landing of the flying object.

  • Patent number: 5878977
Abstract: A light wave guiding apparatus comprising an offset detector for detecting an offset from a predetermined axis is disclosed. A laser beam irradiator irradiates a laser beam having a maximum irradiation intensity in a predetermined orientation and the irradiation intensity decreasing progressively with the increase in the distance away from the orientation while being conically inclined from a predetermined axis. A photo-detector is located in an area irradiated by the laser beam and outputs a received light signal S corresponding to the irradiation intensity. A memory unit stores the relation between the amount of offset of the photo-detector from the predetermined axis and the received light signal S. The received light signal S of the photo-detector is compared with the data stored in the memory unit and the offset amount of the photo-detector is detected.

  • Patent number: 5442611
Abstract: In a method of recording actual data of files on a write-once type record medium such as an optical card under the control of file management information including file name and cluster chain management information, the file management information is first read out of a file management information record region of the record medium, cluster chain management information is formed in accordance with the file management information and is stored in a record area which is provided separately from said record medium, and then the actual data of a file is recorded in successive clusters in the data record region of the record medium. Further, a file name and a file length of the file and a head cluster address of the actual data of the file are recorded on the record medium. The cluster chain management information is formed on the basis of file names, file lengths and head cluster addresses read out of the record medium.

  • Patent number: 5341361
Abstract: An information recording medium, such as an optical card, has a plurality of sectors of different sizes. First, an optical head records information in those of the sectors which have a predetermined size on the information recording medium. Then, the optical head reproduces information recorded in the sectors having the predetermined size on the recording medium. Then, the optical head records the information, reproduced from those sectors having the predetermined size, in another sector or other sectors among the plurality of sectors on the recording medium, which have a relatively larger size than the predetermined size. Only the information of a desired portion may be extracted at the time of reproduction, and recorded in another sector or sectors at the time of re-recording.
