  • Publication number: 20140292456
Abstract: A reactor includes an annular core, coils, a sensor detecting a state of the reactor, and a connector outputting signal from the sensor. Resin-molded bodies are provided around the annular core. The resin-molded body has bobbins for the respective coils and core covering portions formed integrally with each other. An exposed area where no resin covers the bottom of the core is formed in the lower face of the covering portions. A holder to fasten the connector is formed integrally with the upper portion of the covering portion. An assembly including the resin-molded bodies in which the annular core is embedded, and the coils wound around the bobbins are retained in a metal casing. A clearance is formed between the assembly and the casing, and a filler is filled in this clearance. The filler covers the exposed area of the core bottom.

  • Patent number: 8632071
Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided that, even when a recording material is conveyed with a short interval between papers, reduces mistaken detection of a jam without reducing throughput of image formation. To accomplish this, when an interval between papers is not detected by a sensor that is disposed upstream in a conveyance direction but is detected by a sensor that is disposed downstream in the conveyance direction, there is a high possibility of determining that a jam has been generated in which recording material wraps around a fixing roller, but even in such a case, discharge processing is executed normally without a determination that a jam has been generated in which recording material has wrapped around a fixing roller, by using a recording material size and a time period of detection of the interval between papers.

  • Patent number: 8598800
Abstract: A soft-start circuit generates a soft-start voltage Vss having a voltage level that rises over time. A pulse width modulator generates a PWM signal having a duty ratio adjusted such that a feedback voltage Vout? that corresponds to the output voltage Vout of the switching power supply matches the soft-start voltage Vss. A driver circuit controls a switching element according to the PWM signal. A capacitor is arranged such that one terminal thereof is set to a fixed electric potential. A current source generates a charge current that flows intermittently in synchronization with the PWM signal so as to charge the capacitor. The soft-start circuit outputs, as the soft-start voltage Vss, a voltage that occurs at the capacitor.
