  • Patent number: 11960182
Abstract: Provided is a light absorption anisotropic film capable of preparing an image display device having excellent display performance and excellent durability, and a laminate and an image display device formed of the light absorption anisotropic film. The light absorption anisotropic film is used for an image display device, which is formed of a liquid crystal composition containing a liquid crystal compound and a dichroic substance, in which in a signal derived from the dichroic substance detected by time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry, a relationship between a maximum intensity Imax of the light absorption anisotropic film in a thickness direction and an intensity Isur1 in a surface of the light absorption anisotropic film on a viewing side of the image display device satisfies Expression (I-1) 2.0?Imax/Isur1.

  • Patent number: 9687797
Abstract: A kneading device uniformly kneads materials to be kneaded while efficiently and quickly kneading the materials to be kneaded. A kneading device includes a kneading chamber accommodating materials to be kneaded and a pair of rotors. The pair of rotors is rotated in the kneading chamber and kneads the materials to be kneaded by a plurality of kneading blades. The plurality of kneading blades in each rotor is composed only of inclined blades inclined to the same direction in a rotational direction of the rotor with respect to an axial direction of the rotor when the rotor is developed into a planar state. The rotor has bent blades which are bent at bent portions to change tilt angles with respect to the axial direction of the rotor in the plurality of kneading blades.

  • Patent number: 6525917
Abstract: This invention is to provide a transforming system capable of satisfactorily protecting the equipment of a substation even if a aerial electric power lines is struck directly by an intense electric shock of a large energy, such as an electric shock of a waveform similar to that of a thunderbolt stroke having a long duration of wave tail. So, this invention, a transforming system comprises, a lightning arrester, a ground fault device installed near a service entrance through which the power lines are led in, a voltammeter placed on the gas-insulated switchgear, and a control device receiving a signal from the voltammeter and providing a signal for controlling the grounding device. And when detecting of said thunderbolt arising in said aerial electric power line, a control device which order said ground fault device to make the ground fault condition.

  • Patent number: 5343180
Abstract: There is disclosed a coil structure which can be rapidly energized or excited, and which reduces the generation of heat in a coil container by an eddy current due to a dynamic disturbance such as vibration and a magnetic field fluctuation, thereby suppressing the occurrence a quench. The coil container is constituted by a low-resistivity material, and a high-resistivity portion is provided at at least one portion of the coil container in the direction of the periphery of the coil container. The high-resistivity portion is provided at a position where a vibration displacement is small or a magnetic field fluctuation is small. When the coil structure is to be energized or excited, the eddy current produced in the direction of the periphery of the superconducting-coil container can be reduced at the high-resistivity portion, and when the dynamic disturbance develops, the generation of heat by the eddy current is suppressed by the low-resistivity material.
