The present invention provides a fiber having such property, and specifically provides a moisture-absorbing and deodorizing fiber, characterized in that, a basic polymer is ionically-bonded in an amount of 0.2 to 4 mmol/g as an amount of amino group onto the surface of a moisture-absorbing fiber having a crosslinked structure and also having 3 to 8 mmol/g of carboxyl group.
