  • Patent number: 8994850
Abstract: A photographing information management method, which includes: judging whether there is equality between photographing position information added to an image file stored in an external storage medium which is detachably attachable to an imaging apparatus and photographing position information stored in an internal memory of the imaging apparatus; and when it is judged that the two pieces of photographing position information have the equality, displaying an image and the photographing position information of the image file on a display screen of the imaging apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8823833
Abstract: An imager is provided having an imaging sensor, an image processor, and a recorder. The imaging sensor creates an image signal by photographing a subject. The image processor processes the image signal with visual effects processing so as to create image data, and adds metadata to the image data so as to create an image file. The metadata contains post-processing information includes information based on the visual effects process. The recorder stores the image file. The visual effects process is used in processing the image data. The image processor conducting a post process in which more than one visual effects process is carried out, a new image file is created, and the new image file is stored in the recorder. The post-processing information has a post-processing counter and pre-processing information. The post-processing counter indicates the number of times the post process is carried out. The pre-processing information represents the state of a preprocessed image file prior to post processing.

  • Patent number: 7528863
Abstract: A remote-control device controls a digital camera, in which a first range of an exposure compensation value, which can be set when independently using the digital camera, is narrower than a potential range of the exposure compensation value, which is possible to set in the digital camera. The remote-control device sets the exposure compensation values within a range which is broader than the first range. The remote-control device makes the digital camera perform a shutter release operation, in accordance with the exposure compensation values.

  • Patent number: 7477293
Abstract: A remote-control device controls a digital camera, to make the digital camera perform a particular photographing operation having a continuous photographing operation or a bulb photographing operation. The remote-control device may be a personal computer. A start-command generating processor generates a start-command for starting the particular photographing operation, by depressing a switch, which may be a button of a mouse for the personal computer. An end-command generating processor generates an end-command for ending the particular photographing operation, by releasing the switch.

  • Patent number: 6219491
Abstract: An electro-developing type camera using an electro-developing recording medium on which an image is developed while an electric voltage is applied thereto. The image is read out from the electro-developing medium by a scanning mechanism. A color separation filter is disposed in front of the recording medium, so that R, G and B images are recorded on first, second and third recording areas, respectively. The color separation filter and the recording medium are disks rotatably provided. A photographing optical system is disposed at a first position at which the optical axis thereof is positioned above the rotational axes. The scanning mechanism is disposed at a second position at which the scanning mechanism is positioned under the rotational axes of the electro-developing recording medium and the color separation filter.
