    Abstract: A connector and a connection adapter capable of securely fixing a handheld terminal and its peripheral and at the same time form a communication path are provided. The connector connects a handheld terminal and a reader, and includes, a first connector to be placed on a back surface of the handheld terminal, and a second connector to be placed at the reader. The first connector and the second connector have a locking structure configured to slide relatively in a planar direction of the back surface of the handheld terminal for mutually locking, and terminals are configured to electrically connect after the sliding.
