The measurement circuit section includes a differential amplifier circuit that differentially amplifies the inter-end voltage of the capacitor. The circuit control section calibrates an in-phase component in the output of the differential amplifier circuit as an in-phase error and performs the control from the calibrated output from the differential amplifier circuit.

At a part not overlapping with the mass part, a partition is provided. A main air-chamber is tightly formed by the mass part, the piezoelectric sounding body, and the partition, and in the casing within the main air-chamber, a sound issuing hole is formed. The sound outputted from the upper face into the main air-chamber is outputted outside of the casing from the sound issuing hole.

    Abstract: The filter apparatus is composed of a filter housing made of non-conductive material, a filter element made of conductive material contained in the filter housing, and a conductive plug with a sealing element. The filter housing has a bore and the conductive plug is inserted into the bore of the filter housing so that the clearance between the conductive plug and the filter housing is hermetically sealed by the sealing element. The conductive plug is connected in circuit to the filter element in a manner that a part of the plug is exposed out of the filter housing and an earth wire attached to the exposed portion of the plug. The static electricity generated in the filter apparatus is released via a conductive path extending from the filter element through the plug to the earth wire so that the electrostatic discharge may be prevented. The conductive plug is made of material having 107 to 1011 &OHgr;·cm resistivity.

    Abstract: A superconducting magnet abnormality detection and protection apparatus is for early and surely detecting abnormality in superconducting coils mounted on a vehicle and protecting the superconducting coils. Magnetic flux detecting devices are mounted inside an outer vessel, which is a vacuum container of a superconducting magnet, so as to be opposite to the superconducting coil. Voltages induced in the magnetic flux detecting devices are detected. Voltage signals are led to a decision device. By monitoring the change of the voltage signals with time in a comparing judgment device, it is determined whether there is an abnormality. If there is an abnormality, an alarm indicator informs of an abnormal state, and a protection device takes protection measures such as interruption of the current of the superconducting magnet. Owing to such configuration, heat does not penetrate from the outside into the superconducting coil via instrumentation lead wires of the magnetic flux detecting devices.
