  • Publication number: 20180232057
Abstract: An information processing device configured from: a vehicle-mounted device control unit that controls the overall operation of a vehicle-mounted device; a sensing unit capable of measuring the distance to an object and capable of detecting gestures; and a display unit that displays video/images. The sensing unit continuously monitors to determine the distance at which objects are located in front of the display unit, and when the intrusion of the driver's hand into a prescribed region (1) in front of the display unit is detected, the sensing unit moves a prescribed icon (displayed on the display unit) toward the driver. Furthermore, when a speaker is provided, a sound effect or a sound is output from the speaker in conjunction with the movement of the icon. When the intrusion of the driver's hand into a region (2), which is closer to the display unit than the region (1), is detected, a lower-level menu associated with the icon is displayed in a fan-like manner, and a sound effect is output from the speaker.

  • Patent number: 10025430
Abstract: A projection type image display device correctly detects the position of contact of an electronic pen and a finger on a manipulation surface without the provision of a touch sensor. Light containing an image is projected, illuminating light that is different from the light containing the image is projected onto a manipulation surface which at least partially overlaps an image projection surface onto which the light has been projected, and an image of the manipulation surface is captured. A first detection process detects the position at which a first object being manipulated, a distal end of which emits light, touches the manipulation surface, a second detection process detects the position at which a second object being manipulated, which does not emit light, touches the manipulation surface, and at least part of the image being displayed is changed on the basis of the detection result from either detection process.

  • Publication number: 20180059798
Abstract: An in-vehicle device includes a gesture detection unit for recognizing a user's hand at a predetermined range; an information control unit controlling information output to a display; and an in-vehicle device control unit receiving input from a control unit equipped in a vehicle to control the in-vehicle device. When the gesture detection unit detects a user's hand at a predetermined position, the output information control unit triggers the display to display candidates of an operation executed by the in-vehicle device control unit by associating the candidates with the user's hand motions. When the gesture detection unit detects the user's hand, and the user's hand has thereafter moved from the position, the information control unit changes a selection method or a control guide of the operation to be executed by the in-vehicle device control unit, which is displayed on the display, to subject matter which matches the control unit.

  • Publication number: 20170368928
Abstract: A link connecting a lid and a base member of a filler lid structure includes first and second link members. At an opening position, a distance between a distal end of the lid and the base member is larger than a distance between a proximal end of the lid and the base member. The first link member swings about a first support portion in a direction in which a second support portion is moved away from the base member, when the lid shifts from a closing position to the opening position. A distance between a base support point at which the base member or the first link member supports a third support portion at the closing position and an end support point at which the lid supports a fourth support portion at the closing position changes when the lid shifts from the closing position to the opening position.

  • Patent number: 9739625
Abstract: An information processing apparatus for operating a vehicle, when the vehicle is running, and an application is instructed through voice. An in-running operation acceptance/denial list is produced, i.e., a list of words meaning an operation to be inhibited from being executed during the time when the vehicle is running. A command acceptance/denial executing portion of the onboard apparatus determines if the command corresponding to the content, which a user speaks, can be operated or not, during the time when the vehicle is running, by referring this list and a title of the command operable through voices included in the application, and when the vehicle is running, an execution of that command is instructed to an application controller portion, if being determined operable, by referring to a running condition of the vehicle, and if being determined inoperable, the execution of that command is not instructed to the application controller portion.

  • Patent number: 9690994
Abstract: A demarcation line candidate recognizing unit recognizes demarcation line candidates which are candidates for a pair of right and left demarcation lines demarcating a lane based on edge points having predetermined continuity in an image captured by a camera. A demarcation line candidate modifying unit excludes edge points whose corresponding positions in a real space are a predetermined distance or more away from the camera in the case where parallelism between the pair of right and left demarcation line candidates recognized by the demarcation line candidate recognizing unit is equal to or less than a predetermined level and re-recognizes the pair of right and left demarcation line candidates based on the edge points having predetermined continuity among the edge points which have not been excluded.

  • Patent number: 9668658
Abstract: A first calculation unit receives phase characteristics Pa(f) and Pb(f) outputted from frequency transform units, calculates a propagation time difference based on a phase difference between the two phase characteristics in a high-frequency component thereof, and calculates a pulse wave velocity by dividing a difference in the distances of vascular pathways from the heart to respective measurement areas. Meanwhile, a second calculation unit calculates a pulse wave velocity by dividing the stated difference in the distances by a appearance time difference at a predetermined position in respective pulse waveforms obtained by rendering the measurement signals Pa(t) and Pb(t) on a time axis. A comparison unit compares the pulse wave velocities, and in the case where the ratio thereof is outside a predetermined range, an evaluation result indicating that it is possible that a predetermined pathologic change is present in the vascular pathway is outputted to a display processing unit.
