  • Publication number: 20190260891
Abstract: Provided is an electrical apparatus that realizes an operation that can simplify an operation by reflecting a past operation history by a user without inviting an increase in storage capacity. Information of a stepwise operation procedure is identified for each user and stored in a storage unit. Therefore, for example, a case is described in which a control unit recognizes a user when the user uses an image forming apparatus. In this case, when reading the most recent stepwise operation procedure by the user from the storage unit and newly displaying an operation panel on a touch-panel display, a display based on the information stored in this way is performed on the touch-panel display. In this image forming apparatus, the control unit reduces the amount of information stored by deleting a part of the information stored as a stepwise operation procedure after elapse of a first holding time.

  • Publication number: 20190208088
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an image data receiving unit, an image analysis unit, and an image processing unit. The image data receiving unit receives image data representing an input image. The image analysis unit analyzes the input image data, detects an image region representing a drawing target from the input image, and identifies a background image region as an image region excluding the detected image region representing the drawing target. The image processing unit extracts a show-through image from the background image region, adjusts a lightness of the extracted show-through image, and decreases a visibility of the show-through image while maintaining an image of the image region representing the drawing target.

  • Patent number: 7245665
Abstract: A remote operation system includes a server and a client. In the server, a video-audio data conversion-into-common-format section converts data in a format unique to application software into data in a common format. A video-audio distributing section outputs audio-accompanying video data and moving-picture area data from the data in the common format. A section, which processes the transmission of the data of audio-accompanying moving-picture, adds a synchronizing data to video data and audio data, thereby obtaining a data stream. A video-audio data converting section outputs data including the moving-picture area data, operation-related audio display data. A remote control section outputs this data and the data stream. The client controls the application software of the server in response to an operation related to the video and the audio obtained from those data.

  • Patent number: 6442699
Abstract: In a power control apparatus for controlling the power consumption of each of resources for running an application program in an electrical apparatus for running the application program, an operation status detector detects operation statuses of the application program. A load determinator determines a load on the resource in the detected operation status of the application program. A resource operation controller controls the operation of each of the resources such that the resource is operated by a load determined by the load determinator. As a result, the resource is driven by power properly required to run the application program depending on the operation status of the application program.

  • Patent number: 6346935
Abstract: When an instructor such as a finger moves along a flat surface of a touch-sensitive tablet, a touch-sensitive tablet generates an input signal indicative of information of points touched with the instructor on the flat surface. A frame is provided around the touch tablet with a predetermined gap measured from the edge thereof. A maximum moveable range of the instructor of the flat surface is defined by the frame. The predetermined gap is determined such that the instructor can touch the periphery of the flat surface even when the movement of the instructor is restricted by the frame.
