  • Publication number: 20140008109
Abstract: An objective is to provide a novel preparation method for a conductive ZnO film which realizes large area and mass productions with low costs and low environment loads. The crystal of zinc oxide (ZnO) is deposited on a substrate by a precipitation method using liquidous solution method under the presence of citric acid. The citric acid adsorbs on the surface of (0001) face of ZnO to suppress anisotropic growth to a c axis direction of the crystal in the precipitation reaction and to form dense crystal film on the surface of the substrate. Then, the organic acid incorporated in the film is photo-decomposed by irradiating UV light to the prepared ZnO crystalline film. As the result, carriers trapped by the organic acid is released to the crystalline film so as to provide an adequate conductivity.

  • Patent number: 8362990
Abstract: A video signal processing circuit is disclosed. The video signal processing circuit includes a difference detection section, first calculation section, and correction amount addition section. The difference detection section detects a difference between a drive voltage for each of pixels of a matrix drive type display panel as a pixel under consideration and a drive voltage of each of pixels adjacent to the pixel under consideration from an input video signal. The first calculation section calculates a correction amount of a drive voltage for a pixel under correction that has a luminance change due to an electric field caused by a difference of the drive voltages for the two pixels detected by the difference detection section. The correction amount addition section corrects a value of the drive voltage for a pixel under correction that has the luminance change based on the correction amount calculated by the first calculation section.

  • Patent number: 8257842
Abstract: A zinc oxide semiconductor has a zinc oxide-based laminated structure including two layers of a zinc oxide layer with a lattice volume of Va and a donor concentration of Na, and a zinc oxide or zinc oxide solid solution layer with a lattice volume of Vb and a donor concentration of Nb. The relationships of Va<Vb and Na>Nb are satisfied. The layer with the lattice volume Va serves as a charge-supplying layer and the layer with the lattice volume Vb serves as a charge-receiving layer in the laminated structure. The charge is transferred from the layer serving as the charge-supplying layer to the layer serving as the charge-receiving layer even when no external electric field is applied to the laminated structure. A charge depletion layer is formed in the charge-supplying layer due to charge transfer from the charge-supplying layer to the charge-receiving layer.
