  • Publication number: 20060165941
Abstract: The optically transparent protective sheet is made of cured product of a radiation curable paint in the form of a sheet. The optical recording medium includes an optical recording layer formed on at least one surface of a substrate, an adhesive layer formed on the optical recording layer, and an optically transparent protective layer formed on the adhesive layer, wherein the optically transparent protective layer is formed by adhering the optically transparent protective sheet to the optical recording medium, with intervening the adhesive layer therebetween. Such an optically transparent protective sheet is superior optical characteristics, such as thickness accuracy, a birefringence, and light transmittance, and does not have a residual solvent. The optical recording medium using such an optically transparent protective sheet is superior in the optical characteristics, and is capable of increased capacity.

  • Publication number: 20060069892
Abstract: Duplicate data obtained by copying and a volume containing it are flexibly managed according to the attribute of the file to be copied by a storage apparatus as is required by a user. When receiving a backup instruction for the file to be backed up, an instruction for a method managing the attribute of the object to be backed up and the duplicate data obtained by the backup of the object to be backed up is also received. In this case, the duplicate data and the volume name to store it are related, thereby managing the specified attribute.

  • Publication number: 20050221941
Abstract: An eccentric-rotation type planetary differential reduction gear speed reducer (10) includes a cylindrical housing (14). The cylindrical housing (14) is fixed to a first member (3) constituting a link of a robot, and an output shaft (16) of the speed reducer (10) is fixed to a second member (4) constituting a link of the robot. An eccentric shaft (11) constituting an input shaft of the speed reducer (10) is coupled to a motor shaft (2) of a servo motor mounted on the first member (3). Splines are formed directly on the outer peripheral surface of the motor shaft (2) to form a spline shaft (5). The spline shaft is fitted into a spline hole formed in the eccentric shaft (11), so that the motor shaft (2) is directly coupled to the eccentric shaft (11).

  • Publication number: 20050204850
Abstract: A joint structure is employed for an articulated type robot in which a speed reducer of one-stage speed reducing structure and a servo motor are directly connected to each other for the joint of the rotary base B1 and the lower arm A1 and for the joint of the lower arm A1 and the upper arm A2. The input shaft 2 of the speed reducer 10 directly connected to the output shaft of the servo motor 1 attached to the first member 8 (B1/A2) is a crank shaft composing a cam, and the external gears 3a, 3b, 3c are meshed with the cam surfaces. When the servo motor 1 is driven and the input shaft 2 is rotated, the external gears 3a, 3b, 3c are eccentrically revolved and rotated while the external gears 3a, 3b, 3c are meshed with the internal gear 4 provided inside the case 5 of the speed reducer 10. The rotation is taken out by a plurality of pin members 6 engaged to the external gears 3a, 3b, 3c and transmitted to the output shaft 7 of the speed reducer 10.

  • Publication number: 20050044336
Abstract: An assigning system and an assigning method are provided for assigning a storage device or a unitary logical unit of the storage device. A VLU-LU correspondence table is provided which shows a correspondence between virtual logical units (VLU) virtually set in a host computer and logical units (LU) of a plurality of storage devices connected to a network. This table stores evaluation items of each storage device such as a delay time and an access frequency. An evaluation unit calculates an evaluation value of each evaluation item in the table, and a unitary logical unit of the storage is assigned in accordance with the evaluation value.
