Publication number: 20060113483Abstract: There is provided an X-ray detection system comprising a detector and a data acquisition unit. The detector detects an X-ray passing through a body being examined and producing an analog electric signal corresponding to the X-ray for each channel. The data acquisition unit includes a plurality of circuit blocks each including as many circuits as the number of channels assigned to each block. The data acquisition unit converts the analog electric signal output from the detector into a digital signal for each channel and outputting the resultant digital signal and a phase control unit controlling the phase of the circuit blocks of the data acquisition unit such that the circuit blocks are grouped into a plurality of groups and the respective groups of circuit blocks operate in synchronization with clock signals whose phase are different at least between two groups.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2004Publication date: June 1, 2006Applicants: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOSHIBA, TOSHIBA MEDICAL SYSTEMS CORPORATIONInventors: Naoki Sugihara, Michito Nakayama, Tatsuro Suzuki

Patent number: 5761269Abstract: An X-ray CT system includes a fixed frame portion and a rotating frame portion. Being provided with X-ray tubes, the rotating frame portion is arranged so as to rotate with respect to the fixed frame portion. Vane members for feeding air are secured on the rotating frame portion. In operation, with the rotation of the vane members together with the rotating frame portion, cool air is introduced into the rotating frame portion. Consequently, heated instruments, such as the X-ray tubes, in the rotating frame can be cooled down effectively.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 1996Date of Patent: June 2, 1998Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Naoki Sugihara, Hisashi Tachizaki, Tomiya Sasaki, Yutaka Sata, Koichiro Kawano

Patent number: 5627868Abstract: A computerized tomography apparatus is disclosed which reconstructs a tomography image of data from multi-directional projection data in a period of time less than the time required for a scan operation for data acquisition and displays the tomography image after a lapse of a given period of time from the termination of the scan operation. This avoids the time interval between scan and image display becoming irregular. Accordingly, tomography images can be displayed successively like motion picture to observe the internal movements of a section of a human body under examination in real time.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 1995Date of Patent: May 6, 1997Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Yasuo Nobuta, Yusuke Toki, Manabu Hiraoka, Naoki Sugihara, Masahiro Ozaki

Patent number: 5611589Abstract: A seat arrangement comprises first, second, and third groups of seats arranged lengthwise in order on a vehicle floor. Each of the second and third groups of seats includes left and right side seats arranged abreast with a center space defined therebetween. A rail structure extends longitudinally between the center space of the second group of seats and that of the third group of seats. A center seat is slidably mounted on the rail structure, so that the center seat can move between a front position where the center seat is positioned between the side seats of the second group of seats and a rear position wherein the center seat is put between the side seats of the third group of seats.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 1994Date of Patent: March 18, 1997Assignee: Ikeda Bussan Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masanobu Fujii, Tomoki Matsubara, Mitsuru Tanaka, Naoki Sugihara

Patent number: 5395089Abstract: A suspension seat for an automotive vehicle has a seat frame which is vertically movably supported on a parallel link mechanism. A compression spring and a shock absorber of a suspension unit are coaxially assembled. A spring bracket is disposed on the compression spring and screwed with a rod of the shock absorber. A fixing nut is fixed to the rod on the spring bracket to adjust elastic force of the compression spring by changing the position of the spring bracket. A projection of the spring bracket projects from a slit of a suspension unit support bracket with scale division. A resilient bracket supports the parallel link mechanism and outwardly projects to function as a bumper for a seat frame. Therefore, the suspension seat suppresses shock or sound due to impact during an operation of the seat and realizes a simple adjustment of hardness of the suspension unit.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 1993Date of Patent: March 7, 1995Assignee: Ikeda Bussan Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshihiko Yamauchi, Naoki Sugihara
