  • Patent number: 8490987
Abstract: There is provided a stabilizer bar in which through holes are not positionally offset even if the attachment portions are bent after the through holes are formed therein. A stabilizer bar is composed of a steel pipe material bent to an approximate U-shape and has attachment portions formed by deforming the free ends of the steel material in a flat plate shape. Through holes are formed in the attachment portions to fix them to a vehicle body, and each of the attachment portions has a cross section configured as a three-layer structure that is partitioned by first and second overlapping surfaces of a folded hollow portion.
