C. or more higher than said low boiling organic basic acid at an elevated temperature which is lower than the decomposition temperature of said metallic salt of said low boiling organic basic acid, while removing the formed low boiling organic basic acid out of the system. The subject composition provides superior antifouling coating compositions.

The present antifouling coating composition can exhibit excellent polishing property and long-lasting antifouling effect.
