  • Patent number: 9968704
Abstract: A method for regenerating alveolar bone in which bone tissue is regenerated in the gap between an implant or dental root and alveolar bone, which comprises a procedure consisting of making an incision in the gingiva surrounding an implant or dental root embedded in alveolar bone, blowing a first air into the gap between the implant or dental root and the alveolar bone to remove a portion of infected granulation tissue present in the gap, and irradiating the gap with laser light to degenerate the infected granulation tissue remaining in the gap, followed by blowing a second air containing microparticles having calcium as a constituent thereof and water into the gap to remove the degenerated infected granulation tissue and fill in the gap with the wet microparticles.

  • Patent number: 7485755
Abstract: An acid addition salt of a carba-sugar amine derivative represented by the following formula (1): wherein R1 and R2 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an acyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group which may have one or at least two of the following substituent (I) or (II), or R1 and R2 are taken together to represent a substituent (III) (R8 to R12 each independently represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an acyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group), with the proviso that both R1 and R2 are not a hydrogen atom at the same time; R3, R4 and R7 each independently represents a hydroxyl group or a hydroxyl group having a substituent; and R5 and R6 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, or a hydroxyl group or a hydroxyl group having a substituent, with the proviso that when one of R5 and R6 is a hydrogen atom, the other is a hydroxyl group or a hydroxyl group having a substituent.

  • Patent number: 7163399
Abstract: An ultrasonic therapy device comprises two bodies and two holding members. The body, at the inner face of which an oscillator is embedded, covers an affected area into which implant fixtures are embedded. The holding member which holds the body has a shape of a crown which covers teeth next to the affected area. Two teeth were removed from the affected area into which two implant fixtures are embedded. Each of the bodies covers the affected area between the teeth which is covered by the holding members so that the bodies are exactly fixed in an oral cavity. In this state, it is possible to accelerate osteogenesis around the implant fixtures by supplying an ultrasonic signal from an external driver to the oscillator.
