Publication number: 20230403498Abstract: A control system includes earphones including a housing having a space therein and an air-permeable path from one end of an ear canal of a user to one end of the ambient environment, and an opening and closing valve accommodated in the housing and capable of blocking a part of the path, the earphones being worn on left and right ears of the user, respectively, and a wireless terminal carried by the user. The wireless terminal transmits a signal indicating that the moving speed is a speed within the predetermined range to the earphones when determining that a moving speed of the user is within a predetermined range. The earphones control the opening and closing valve based on the signal acquired from the wireless terminal.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 9, 2023Publication date: December 14, 2023Inventor: Naoko OKAMOTO

Patent number: 10012397Abstract: When a front panel moves away from a front surface of a casing, a central part of the front panel is warped. An indoor unit of the present invention includes a casing, a front panel provided forward of the casing, and a drive mechanism moving the front panel away from the front surface of the casing. The front panel is curved so that its central part protrudes forward. The drive mechanism moves the front panel in a substantially horizontal direction.Type: GrantFiled: October 27, 2014Date of Patent: July 3, 2018Assignee: DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD.Inventors: Naoko Okamoto, Junichi Nakanishi, Toshiaki Yamada, Katsuhiro Wakihara, Tetsuji Inoue

Publication number: 20170261224Abstract: In a known indoor unit, a casing may move away from a wall surface and a gap may be formed between the casing and the wall surface, with the result that the design of the indoor unit may be deteriorated. An indoor unit includes a mounting board fixed to a wall surface and a bottom frame (casing) attached to the mounting board. The bottom frame (casing) has screw holes (screw fixing portions) for fixing the bottom frame (casing) to the wall surface of the room.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2014Publication date: September 14, 2017Applicant: DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD.Inventors: Naoko OKAMOTO, Toshiaki YAMADA, Junichi NAKANISHI, Katsuhiro WAKIHARA, Tetsuji INOUE

Publication number: 20160363328Abstract: During operation of an indoor unit, the inside of a casing is easily seen while a front panel is moving away from the front surface of the casing, and hence the appearance of the indoor unit is deteriorated. An indoor unit of the present invention includes a casing and a front panel provided forward of the casing and movable away from the front surface of the casing. The front surface of the casing (the front surface of a front grill) is curved at around its ends in the longitudinal direction so that the thickness of the indoor unit increases toward a central part in the longitudinal direction. The front panel is curved so that its central part protrudes forward and includes extension parts which extend outward as compared to the ends of the front surface of the casing (the front surface of the front grill).Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2014Publication date: December 15, 2016Applicant: DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD.Inventors: Naoko OKAMOTO, Junichi NAKANISHI, Toshiaki YAMADA, Katsuhiro WAKIHARA, Tetsuji INOUE

Publication number: 20160363343Abstract: In an indoor unit in which a front surface of a casing is curved to bulge so that its central part is at the foremost, a filter cannot be easily taken out. An indoor unit of the present invention includes a casing, a front panel provided forward of the casing, and a filter arranged to be attachable to a mounting position to cover an opening formed on a front surface of the casing. On the front surface of the casing, a protruding wall surface is provided around a lower end portion of the opening to protrude forward, a front end of the protruding wall being curved so that a central part of the front end protrudes forward. The front panel is rotatable relative to the casing so that the lower end portion thereof moves forward, and the protruding wall surface is inclined forward in a downward direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 26, 2014Publication date: December 15, 2016Applicant: DAIKIN INDUSTRIES, LTD.Inventors: Naoko OKAMOTO, Junichi NAKANISHI, Toshiaki YAMADA, Katsuhiro WAKIHARA, Tetsuji INOUE

Publication number: 20090136649Abstract: A crustacean-derived protein, as measured by sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS)-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, displays a non-reduced band of a molecular weight of about 200,000, displays reduced-form bands at about 86,000 and 90,000 molecular weights, and has N-terminal amino acids as indicated by SEQ ID No. 1 or SEQ ID No. 2. This protein is contained in large amounts in the crustacean shells that are largely discarded except for use for meal, chitin, and chitosan raw material. Thus large volume preparation, as well as inexpensive production, is possible. Moreover, application by addition to foods is easy since this is a food-derived protein. Since the protein of the present invention has ice nucleation activity and recrystallization inhibition activity for ice crystals, wide use is possible with the object of quality maintenance and the like of frozen food and the like.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2007Publication date: May 28, 2009Applicant: NIPPON SUISAN KAISHA LTD.Inventors: Satoru Chiba, Mitsutoshi Kubota, Satoko Nishizawa, Naoko Okamoto, Kenichi Suzuki

Publication number: 20090054626Abstract: A crustacean-derived protein having antifreeze activity which under reduced conditions has a molecular weight, as measured by sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS)—polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, of about 37,000, about 16,000, and/or about 15,400; and the N-terminal amino acids are indicated by SEQ ID No. 1 or SEQ ID No. 2. Since this protein is excellent in comparison to the conventional antifreeze proteins from the standpoints of safety, activity, production rate, cost, and the like, use is possible in a wide range of fields, beginning with foods.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 13, 2007Publication date: February 26, 2009Applicant: NIPPON SUISAN KAISHA LTD.Inventors: Satoru Chiba, Mitsutoshi Kubota, Satoko Nishizawa, Naoko Okamoto, Kenichi Suzuki

Publication number: 20030038730Abstract: An apparatus for controlling appliances connectable to a singular or a plurality of target appliances, which apparatus can be approached from a terminal device. The apparatus comprises interface means for exchanging signals with the appliances, memory means having program components folder which stores independent program components by each of the functions, and application generation means which selects necessary program component among those stored in the program components folder to generate a certain specific application that conforms to the function of target appliance. Thereby, even when a new target appliance is added to, an existing appliance is changed or the controllable function of existing appliance is modified, the resultant burden levied on the users and system operators is reduced. And in the present apparatus, the memory media resources are utilized efficiently with least wasting.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 5, 2002Publication date: February 27, 2003Inventors: Kazuo Imafuku, Naoko Okamoto

Patent number: 5697064Abstract: The position of a mobile station is properly monitored and is stored in a home location register. A call which indicates this mobile station as a calling/receiving station is set via any mobile service switching center. When monitoring a communication oriented by this call is necessary, the subscriber number of this mobile station is input by a test work station. Based on this subscriber number, an operation and maintenance center reads position data of the mobile station from the home location register and reports the data to the test work station. Based on the position data, the test work station specifies the mobile service switching center through which the call has been set, and transfer data specifying this mobile service switching center to the operation and maintenance center. The operation and maintenance center extracts the call-oriented voices from this mobile service switching center.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 1997Date of Patent: December 9, 1997Assignee: Fujitsu LimitedInventors: Naoko Okamoto, Takaaki Kawakami
