  • Publication number: 20250170970
Abstract: A noise insulation structure of a vehicle frame comprises a side sill, a pillar reinforcement having a lower-end portion joined to the side sill and a closed-cross section, a vertical wall portion extending upward from an upper-face portion of the side sill, and a noise insulating plate provided to be separated upward from the upper-face portion of the side sill and forming a space portion extending in a vertical direction together with the upper-face portion, the vertical wall portion, and the pillar reinforcement. An opening portion is formed at an inside portion of the upper-face portion which is positioned inside the space portion such that it penetrates the upper-face portion. An opening ratio of an opening area of the opening portion to an area of the inside portion of the upper-face portion is set to be 0.2 or less.

  • Patent number: 9744920
Abstract: A floor carpet is placed on a floor panel forming a cabin floor surface. The floor carpet comprises a skin layer which is configured to block an airflow therethrough and a sound-absorption layer which is made of a sound-absorption material and configured to allow an airflow therein, the sound-absorption layer being provided below the skin layer to contact the floor panel at a lower face thereof. A space between the skin layer and the floor panel (a space portion where the sound-absorption layer is arranged) is sealed with a seal member which is configured to surround the sound-absorption layer. The seal member is pressed against the floor panel (tightly) by a pressing member which is fixed to a vehicle-body side with a fixing tool.

  • Patent number: 7789196
Abstract: Disclosed is a sound-absorbing material, which has a flow resistivity R of 3.3×104 N·s/m4 or more, a Young's modulus E of 1.2×103 to 2.0×104 N/m2, and a loss factor ? of 0.12 or less. The sound-absorbing material of the present invention can enhance a sound absorption capability in a wide range of a low/intermediate-frequency region to a high-frequency region at a higher level as compared with conventional sound-absorbing materials.
