  • Patent number: 8816821
Abstract: [Problems to be Solved] It is an object to provide a tag associating system that, when a plurality of RFID tags are collected to move as a tag group, associates the RFID tags belonging to the tag group with a representative RFID tag ranked as a representative of the tag group; its associating method; etc. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present system associates an RFID tag (2A) ranked as a representative of the tag group (2). A communication area (J) of a first antenna (4A) to read out data from the representative tag group (2A) is arranged to partially overlap with a communication area (K) of a second antenna (4B) to read out data from each RFID tag (2B) of the tag group (2).

  • Patent number: 8610563
Abstract: A tag information processing apparatus, including: a receiving section (101) for receiving read-out information of an RFID tag (100), the read-out information obtained through N reading operations (where N represents an integer equal to or greater than 2) carried out for an RFID tag-reading area; a detection frequency information obtaining section (102) for obtaining detection frequency information on the basis of the read-out information received by the receiving section (101), the detection frequency information indicating a detection frequency at which the read-out information of the RFID tag (100) is detected in the N reading operations; a movement determining section (103) for determining whether or not the RFID tag (100) has been moved out of the RFID tag-reading area, wherein, in a case where the detection frequency information obtained by the detection frequency information obtaining section (102) indicates that the detection frequency at which the read-out information of the RFID tag (100) is detecte

  • Patent number: 8482387
Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for judging a movement direction of an RFID tag in a case where read information acquired from a first region and read information acquired in a second region which overlap the first region indicate that the RFID tag has moved out of a part of the first region which part does not overlap the second region. The described embodiments include a movement direction judging section, a detection frequency information acquisition section, a movement judging section, an output judging section, and an output section.

  • Publication number: 20120191415
Abstract: A sensor makes the second measurement, and calculates an absolute value of the difference between a generated second measured value and a first predicted value for the measured value. If the absolute value of the difference for the measured value is greater than a first predetermined value, data of the measured value is transmitted to a server 31. Based on the transmitted measured value, the server 31 generates the second measured value. Then, the next predicted value is generated based on the first predicted value and the second measured value. An absolute value of the difference between each of the second predicted values and each of the first predicted values is calculated. If the absolute value of the difference is greater than a second predetermined value, the difference is transmitted to the sensor 21. The sensor 21 generates the next predicted value based on the transmitted difference.

  • Publication number: 20100302010
Abstract: A tag information processing apparatus includes (i) a movement direction judging section (103) which judges a movement direction of an RFID tag in a case where read information acquired from a first region and read information acquired in a second region which overlap the first region indicate that the RFID tag has moved out of a part of the first region which part does not overlap the second region; (ii) a detection frequency information acquisition section (104) which acquires detection frequency information indicative of appearance frequency of the RFID tag based on the read information; (iii) a movement judging section (105) which judges, based on the detection frequency information, whether or not the RFID tag has moved out of both of the first region and the second region; (iv) an output judging section (106) which judges whether or not the RFID tag whose movement direction has been judged matches the RFID tag which has been judged to have moved out of both of the first region and the second region; and
