  • Publication number: 20230257889
Abstract: A hydrogen production system according to an embodiment includes an evaporator that evaporates seawater to generate water vapor, an electrolytic device that electrolyzes the water vapor supplied from the evaporator to produce hydrogen, and a removal mechanism that is provided between the evaporator and the electrolytic device and removes a seawater component from the water vapor.

  • Publication number: 20220389598
Abstract: To enable stable and efficient production of hydrogen. A hydrogen production apparatus according to an embodiment includes an electrolytic unit and an electrolysis power controller. The electrolytic unit produces hydrogen by electrolyzing steam using electric power supplied from an electric power source. The electrolysis power controller controls the supply of electric power from the electric power source to the electrolytic unit. Here, the electrolysis power controller determines whether an unsupplied time during which electric power from the electric power source to the electrolytic unit is not supplied exceeds a predetermined set time, and starts the supply of electric power from the electric power source to the electrolytic unit when the unsupplied time exceeds the set time.

  • Publication number: 20140369914
Abstract: A gas collection method comprises contacting a gas mixture including a weak acidic gas and a strong acidic gas with amine solution that absorbs a first portion of the gas mixture. After this first contacting step the gas mixture is contacted with amine solution that absorbs a second portion of the mixture. The amine solution after the second contacting step is heated to discharge at least some portion of the weak acid gas component absorbed therein. The method also includes adding an alkaline compound to the amine solution to generate a salt by reaction with the strong acidic component. The salt is separated from the amine solution and this amine solution can be used in the second contacting step.
