  • Publication number: 20050146261
Abstract: A reflection film for reflecting electron beams is provided between an inner surface of a face plate and a phosphor layer. The electron beams which pass through a phosphor layer are reflected on the reflection film and are incident on the phosphor layer. Since the electron beams are reflected on the reflection film, the browning of the face plate can be decreased.

  • Publication number: 20030214222
Abstract: The present invention provides a cathode ray tube which can suppress a coloring phenomenon of a panel glass which is attributed to the irradiation of electron beams. At an electron beam irradiation side of a panel glass PNL of the cathode ray tube PRT, a transparent thin oxide layer TF of an element whose reduction by the irradiation of electron beams is difficult is formed. With the provision of the transparent thin oxide layer TF, the present invention suppresses the coloring phenomenon of the panel glass attributed to the irradiation of electron beams.

  • Patent number: 4513024
Abstract: A phosphor screen good in quality without greatly lowering brightness can be produced on a cathode-ray tube faceplate by the settling process wherein there is used a suspension of phosphor particles which are susceptible to hydrolysis or dissolution prepared by using an alkaline aqueous solution having a pH of 10 to 13 and if necessary with a small amount of water glass, or the above-mentioned phosphor suspension is poured into a cushion solution having a pH of 10 to 13, said cushion solution being able to contain a small amount of water glass.

  • Patent number: 4425528
Abstract: Red and blue light emitting members constituting a three color fluorescent screen of a color picture tube comprise a combination of a red phosphor, a blue phosphor and a filter substance of a color different from colors of lights emitted by the red and blue phosphors. As the filter substance is used a purple pigment, for instance.

  • Patent number: 4352878
Abstract: When a low molecular weight dihydric or trihydric alcohol is added to a photoresist composition comprising a water-soluble polymer substance and a diazide photo-crosslinking agent, the fluidity of the composition is improved and the drying speed is moderately retarded and it enables the formation of a photoresist layer having a uniform film thickness and uniform drying degree. The said alcohol is exemplified by ethylene glycol, glycerol, etc. and is preferably added in an amount of 5-300 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the water-soluble polymer substance.

  • Patent number: 4254197
Abstract: When a low molecular weight dihydric or trihydric alcohol is added to a photoresist composition comprising a water-soluble polymer substance and a bisazide photo-crosslinking agent, the fluidity of the composition is improved and the drying speed is moderately retarded and it enables the formation of a photoresist layer having a uniform film thickness and uniform drying degree. The said alcohol is exemplified by ethylene glycol, glycerol, etc. and is preferably added in an amount of 5-300 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the water-soluble polymer substance.

  • Patent number: 4139657
Abstract: In a process for producing a color television picture tube which comprises at least the step of coating phosphor slurries onto the inner surface of a panel to form a phosphor layer, the step of forming two layers each consisting of an aqueous filming emulsion containing an acrylic resin, the step of forming a metal film on the second layer, and the step of baking out the organic substances, a color television picture tube having a metal film which contains a few pores and cracks and no blister can be produced by using said phosphor slurries containing an acrylic resin and using the first aqueous filming emulsion containing an acrylic resin having an elongation of 10% or more and using the second aqueous filming emulsion containing an acrylic resin having an elongation of less than 10%.
