  • Publication number: 20160064875
Abstract: A connector includes a first housing (10) with a terminal accommodating portion (11) surrounded by a peripheral wall (17), a second housing (60) connectable to the first housing (10), and a detector (40) to detect a connected state of the housings (10, 60) based on whether the detector (40) moves from an initial position to a detection position in a space between the terminal accommodating portion (11) and the peripheral wall (17). An opening (22) extends circumferentially in a part of the peripheral wall (17) and exposes the detector (40). Deformation regulating portions (23, 53) are formed on the peripheral wall (17) and the detector member (40) and permit movements of the detector (40) between the initial position and the detection position and regulate deformation of the peripheral wall (17) to enlarge an opening width of the opening (22) by being fit to each other.

  • Publication number: 20150318639
Abstract: A lever-type connector of the present invention includes a female housing (11), a lever (30) rotatably mounted on the female housing (11) and rotatable between an initial position and a connection position, a male housing (51) including a connector fitting portion (53) into which the female housing (11) is fittable and a lever fitting portion (54) into which the lever (30) is fittable, both the connector fitting portion (53) and the lever fitting portion (54) being open in the same direction, and a lock projection (56) provided in the lever fitting portion (54) and configured to hold the lever (30) fitted into the lever fitting portion (54) at the connection position.

  • Patent number: 8927863
Abstract: A terminal assembly includes a wire including a core made of metal and covered with a coating, a terminal including a wire connecting portion connected to an end portion of the wire, a sealing resin sealing the wire connecting portion, and a housing including a through hole with a front opening and a rear opening. The terminal is made of a different kind of metal from the core of the wire. The housing accommodates the terminal in the through hole. The wire connecting portion includes an exposed portion not covered with the sealing resin and unexposed portions covered with the sealing resin. The exposed portion is positioned between the unexposed portions in a front and rear direction, thereby protecting the wire connecting portion from electrolytic corrosion. The exposed portion is obtained after the sealing resin is worn by being rubbed against an inner wall of the through hole.

  • Publication number: 20140301780
Abstract: A connector (10) includes a female housing (20) for accommodating female terminals (24) and a retainer (40) mountable in female housing (20). The retainer (40) includes a retaining portion (41) that retains the female terminals (24) by being inserted into a retainer mounting hole (27) in the female housing (20). Locks (46) are adjacent to the retaining portion (41) in a direction intersecting an inserting direction of the retaining portion (41) while standing up from bases (45) integral to the retaining portion (41). The locks (46) resiliently deform by moving onto partial locking projections (30) and full locking projections (31) formed in the female housing (20), and resiliently restore to engage the partial locking projections (30) and the full locking projections (31). The lock pieces (46) are separated from the retaining portion (41).
