The payment device includes a sensor configured to detect motion when enabled, and a processor configured to enable the sensor upon receipt of a notification that the transaction data has been generated, in response to the motion being detected by the sensor while the payment is pending, acquire the transaction data generated by the registration device, and perform a payment process using the acquired transaction data.

Abstract: A point-of-sale system includes a registration device configured to register items for a transaction, a plurality of payment devices with which payment for the transaction can be made, and an imaging device including a camera configured to capture images in an area where the registration device and the payment devices are located and a processor that is configured to determine, based on the images captured by the camera, one of the plurality of payment devices as a destination for sending payment data for the transaction. The payment data is sent to the payment device determined to be the destination and not sent to other payment devices of the plurality of payment devices.

If a plurality of objects corresponding to transaction support apparatuses are displayed on the display, the plurality of objects are displayed in a format indicating priority ordering of the transaction support apparatuses set based on the events at the transaction support apparatuses.

The management server generates a machine-readable code including information for acquiring the transaction data and an electronic settlement method. The management server transmits the machine-readable code to the first terminal upon receiving a checkout instruction. Upon receiving information for acquiring the transaction data from a second terminal, the management server acquires the transaction data from the virtual point-of-sale server, and processes an electronic payment if the information regarding the electronic settlement method is received from the second terminal.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing device for product registration and checkout systems includes, a communication interface and a memory unit storing one or more capture conditions. A processor of the device is configured to check whether a registration of a commodity in a sales transaction satisfies a capture condition stored in the memory unit and output an instruction for capturing an image of the commodity if the registration satisfies the capture condition. The processor acquires an image of the commodity that was captured based on the instruction, and outputs the acquired image to an external apparatus via the communication interface.
