    Abstract: This invention provides a heat-sensitive record material comprising a base sheet and a heat-sensitive record layer formed over the base sheet and containing a colorless or pale-colored basic dye and a color developing material capable of forming a color when contacted with the dye, the record material being characterized in that the heat-sensitive record layer contains as the color developing material at least one compound represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, a group ##STR2## or a group ##STR3## wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each a hydrogen atom, chlorine atom, hydroxyl or alkoxy having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, the heat-sensitive record layer further containing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 1,1-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)cyclohexane and hindered phenol compounds.

The heat-sensitive recording material is suitable for use in high-speed recording, e.g., high-speed facsimiles.
