  • Patent number: 9306100
Abstract: Provided is a solar cell module wherein solar cells and a sealing material, which is sealing the solar cells, are not easily peeled from each other. A solar cell module is provided with solar cells, a wiring material, and a sealing material. Each of the solar cells has first and second main surfaces. The wiring material is electrically connected to each of the solar cells on the first main surface. The sealing material seals the solar cells. The sealing material has a first sealing section and a second sealing section. The first sealing section contains a non-bridging resin. The first sealing section is positioned on the first main surface side of the solar cells. The second sealing section contains a bridging resin and pigment. The second sealing section is positioned on the second main surface side of the solar cells.

  • Patent number: 9209334
Abstract: A solar cell module includes an encapsulant and a solar cell in the encapsulant. The encapsulant includes a light-receiving side encapsulant at a light-receiving surface side of the solar cell, and a colored rear side encapsulant at a rear surface side of the solar cell. The rear side encapsulant contains an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. An interface between the rear side encapsulant and the light-receiving side encapsulant is in contact with a side surface of the solar cell. In a part of an area where no solar cell is provided, the rear side encapsulant bulges to the light-receiving surface side.

  • Publication number: 20150214410
Abstract: A solar cell module may include: solar cells; a colored layer serving as a first reflective layer disposed at the rear sides of the solar cells and including a coloring agent with a higher refractive index than the main material of the colored layer; an intermediate transparent layer disposed at the rear side of the colored layer and having a higher transmission factor than the colored layer; and a protective member at the rear side of the module, serving as a second reflective layer disposed at the rear side of the intermediate transparent layer, including a whitened portion having a higher refractive index than the main material of the protective member, and having a higher refractive index for the entire layer than the intermediate transparent layer. A sealing member at the rear side of the module includes the colored layer and the intermediate transparent layer.

  • Publication number: 20140345691
Abstract: A solar cell module includes a solar cell, a light-receiving surface member on a light-receiving side of the solar cell, a rear surface member on a rear side of the solar cell, and a sealing material between the light-receiving surface member and the rear surface member. The rear surface member has higher permeability of acetic acid than that of the light-receiving surface member. The sealing material seals the solar cell and includes a light-receiving side sealing material on the light-receiving side of the solar cell and a rear side sealing material on the rear side of the solar cell. The light-receiving side sealing material does not contain an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. The rear side sealing material contains the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
