  • Patent number: 6531983
Abstract: An antenna assembly having patterned conductive films on the surfaces of a dielectric hexahedron with compatibility to mass-production, wherein the conductive films are formed on protuberances formed on the surface of the dielectric hexahedron on which protuberances and depressions are formed. In one embodiment, the dielectric hexahedron includes convex portions serving as the protuberances and concave portions serving as the depressions. A conductive film may be formed on the protuberances by roll coating, sputtering, evaporative deposition, and electroless deposition, thereby producing inexpensively a high quality antenna assembly having a circuit pattern formed thereon.

  • Patent number: 5977845
Abstract: An LC filter including a substrate having a magnetic and dielectric material. The LC filter includes inductors having two spiral structures arranged so that magnetic fluxes generated at the insides of the spiral structures are parallel and in mutually reverse directions. Also included are plane plate capacitors between the two spiral structures.

  • Patent number: 5045638
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for shielding electromagnetic radiation which includes a casing made primarily of electromagnetic shielding material and an electromagnetic wave suppressor member having high permeability and/or permittivity. A method for using this apparatus also is described. The suppressor member has a high dielectric loss and/or high magnetic loss at a location close to the place in the casing where electromagnetic waves are less shielded, thereby reducing leakage of undesirable electromagnetic waves from the casing.
