  • Publication number: 20230085417
Abstract: The present invention provides a supported metal catalyst with excellent effectiveness factor of active metal particles which are also free from deactivation by contacting with ionomer. According to the present invention, provided is a supported metal catalyst, comprising a support that is a collective body of conductive particles; and dispersed active metal particles supported on the conductive particles, wherein the conductive particles include a plurality of pores, an average entrance pore diameter of the pores is 1 to 20 nm, a standard deviation of the average entrance pore diameter is equal to or less than 50% of the average entrance pore diameter, a number fraction of the active metal particles supported in a surface layer region of the conductive particles divided by the total number of the active metal particles is equal to or more than 50%, and the surface layer region is a region on a surface of the conductive particles or a region in the pores within a depth of 15 nm from the surface.

  • Patent number: 7392656
Abstract: A steam turbine plant includes an extraction system and a control system for controlling the steam extraction. The extraction system includes an extraction steam flowmeter and a stop valve. The control system sets a warning flow and an extracted steam stop flow for the extracted steam. When the extracted steam flow reaches the warning flow, a warning is issued and after a lapse of a predetermined time period, the stop valve is opened to restrict the extracted steam flow. When the extracted steam flow reaches the extracted steam stop flow, the stop valve is closed to stop steam extraction. A steam turbine plant can thus exercise extraction control to stably supply extracted steam while avoiding turbine trip, even if not equipped with a high-performance and expensive valve device such as an extraction steam control valve.

  • Publication number: 20050026776
Abstract: A preparation method of catalysts for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis comprises preparing a solution containing a chelate complex having a transition metal capable of hydrogenating carbon monoxide, allowing silica as a carrier to be impregnated with the solution, drying the silica carrier impregnated with the solution, and baking the silica carrier after the drying so as to permit the oxide of the transition metal to be supported by the silica carrier.

  • Patent number: 5203159
Abstract: A pressurized fluidized bed combustion combined cycle power plant has a gas turbine unit of single spindle type in which a turbine, driven by combustion gas from burning of coal in a pressurized fluidized bed combustion boiler, drives an electrical generator at constant speed and drives a compressor supplying compressed combustion air to the boiler. To permit partial load operation, a control arrangement is provided to effect, in dependence upon an operating load of the boiler, control of at least one of the flow rate of the combustion air into the boiler, and the operating pressure in the combustion chamber of the boiler. The control arrangement may be, for example, a valve controlling a by-pass flow of the combustion air and/or inlet guide vanes of the compressor.
