  • Patent number: 6463512
Abstract: The present invention aims at restoring backup data in a predetermined order and avoiding damage from being given to the system even when the backup data are destroyed. Flags Ferr and Feeprom and a variable i stored in a DRAM are initialized (S1 to S3). When the variable i is smaller than the number n of EEPROMs (hereinafter referred to as “PROM(s)”), the ID code of a PROM in question is read and loaded into the DRAM (S4 to S6). When the variable i equals the number n, the variable i is cleared (S7). Then, a variable j is initialized (S9), and it is determined whether or not each PROM ID stored in the DRAM matches with a mask ROM ID until the variable j becomes greater than the number n of PROMs (S11). If the answer is “No”, the variable j is incremented (S13), while if “Yes,” a number corresponding to the variable j then assumed is loaded into the DRAM as the flag Feeprom (S14).

  • Patent number: 6412978
Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes an X-ray tube for irradiating a subject with X-rays, a rectangular planar type X-ray detector formed by arraying a plurality of solid-state detection elements, a supporting mechanism for supporting the X-ray tube and the planar type X-ray detector in arbitrary postures with respect to the subject, and a suspending mechanism for suspending the planar type X-ray detector from the supporting mechanism. The suspending mechanism has a rotating mechanism for rotating the planar type X-ray detector through an arbitrary angle about a central path of the X-rays. When necessary, the planar type X-ray detector is rotated about the central path of the X-rays so as to be very close to the subject. When necessary, the planar type X-ray detector is rotated, so that the longitudinal direction of the subject on the image and the vertical direction of the screen can coincide with each other.

  • Patent number: 6325537
Abstract: An X-ray generator is rotatably attached to one end of a C-shaped arm, and a planar X-ray detector is attached to the other end of the C-shaped arm via a link mechanism capable of freely changing a position/direction of the detector. The X-ray generator is rotated to achieve imaging in an oblique direction, without sliding/rotating the C-shaped arm. The link mechanism is driven in association with the rotation of the X-ray generator so that the X-ray detector may face the X-ray generator. Thus, the limit to the slide angle range can substantially be eliminated without degrading accessibility, and various positioning is achieved exactly and easily.

  • Patent number: 6222906
Abstract: Pixel data in a region of a flat panel detector is obtained and displayed. For example, pixel data in a region irradiated with X-ray is obtained and displayed. The region to be irradiated with-the X-ray is estimated according to a degree of opening of an X-ray beam limiting device and a distance between the X-ray beam limiting device and the flat panel detector. Further, it can be determined from pixel data value of the flat panel detector also. A region of a patient can be also determined from the pixel data. Thus, an image corresponding to the entire flat panel detector, an image corresponding to an X-ray irradiation region and an image corresponding to a patient region can be displayed. A resolution for obtaining the pixel data is changed corresponding to the size of a region in the flat panel detector whose pixel data should be obtained and a processing resolution of an image processing means at post step.

  • Patent number: 6166355
Abstract: A power-saving controller for an image-forming apparatus activates a power-saving mode when the image-forming apparatus is operated with a power-saving key while standing by, and controls a fixer to have a target temperature selected by a user beforehand, which is lower than a target temperature of the fixer obtained when the image-forming apparatus stands by. After a predetermined period elapses, when the selected temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature, the power-saving controller controls the fixer to have the predetermined temperature.

  • Patent number: 6155713
Abstract: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus has a first X-ray generating portion for imaging of over-table tube, a second X-ray generating portion for imaging of under-table tube, and an X-ray detecting portion having a compact and light solid state detector light attached to an elastic stay portion suspended from a ceiling to a floor. The solid state detector is supported by a central rotating arm for enabling central rotation about a central axis of the solid state detector, and an elastic offset rotating arm for enabling offset rotation dislocated from the central rotation. Therefore, by virtue of each rotation and the extension and contraction operation and further its compactness and lightness, the solid state detector can be accurately and rapidly set to various positionings in upward, downward, leftward, rightward and slanting positions, etc. with respect to a subject on a diagnostic table.

  • Patent number: 6113264
Abstract: A second C-shaped arm 5 is provided along an inner periphery of a first C-shaped arm 4, and a slide operation of the first C-shaped arm 4 is controlled and a slide operation of the second C-shaped arm 5 is controlled along the inner periphery of the first C-shaped arm 4. Accordingly, wide angle setting can be achieved to thus enable various positionings. Further, the second C-shaped arm 5 is controlled to be rotated over 360.degree. along the inner periphery of the first C-shaped arm 4 and an X-ray generator 6 is controlled to irradiate an X-ray intermittently or continuously every predetermined angle, so that three dimensional reconstruction can be accomplished based on image information every angle. As a result, three dimensional radioscopic images, etc. can be formed based on necessary and sufficient image information, whereby the X-ray diagnostic apparatus can be used like an X-ray CT apparatus.
