  • Patent number: 8333751
Abstract: A medical container (1) includes a bag-like container body (10) made up of two flexible sheets (12a, 12b). At least one of a pair of long-side sealed areas (11La, 11Lb) formed by the two sheets being bonded together is provided with a sealed protruding portion (20a, 21a, 20b, 21b) protruding toward the other long-side sealed area such that the spacing between the pair of long-side sealed areas is locally narrowed. A crease (30a, 31a, 30b, 31b) passing through the sealed protruding portion is formed in the sheets when a liquid substance has been injected into the container body in a volume greater than or equal to 10% of a defined volume of the container body and the medical container is hung. Accordingly, it is possible to know the exact amount of a liquid substance in the container by using a scale provided on the sheets constituting the container even if a crease is formed in the sheets due to the liquid substance being in the container.

  • Patent number: 8105312
Abstract: The present invention aims at offering: a syringe connectable to a port in a fixed manner as well as capable of demonstrating high operational performance even in the case of direct connection where a connector is not used; a connector used for the syringe; and a syringe able to attach the connector thereto. For the attainment of the above objectives, the medical syringe of the present invention is a medical syringe including a cyrindrical connection supporting member which enhances the holding force of a luer part inserted into a port when the medical syringe is connected to the port. The connection supporting member is set by sliding along the luer or a syringe body in a state of being movable between a first position near a tip of the luer and a second position away from the tip of the luer. The medical syringe is characterized in that, when the connection supporting member is moved to the second position, the tip of the luer part is exposed.

  • Publication number: 20110004161
Abstract: A rotator 2 is supported rotatably on a base 1, and a roller 7 is supported rotatably at the outer periphery of the rotator 2. A pressing member 4 has a circular arc pressing surface 4a and can be located selectively in a retracted position where a groove-shaped space 8 is formed between the pressing surface and the rotator and in a proximity position where the pressing surface is closer to the rotator. When the pressing member is in the retracted position, a pump tube can be inserted in the groove-shaped space. The pressing member is moved to the proximity position with the pump tube being held, and then the rotator is rotated, so that the pump tube is pressure-driven by the roller. The injection device with a simple structure easily can extract almost the entire semi-solidified nutritional supplement from a nutritional supplement container and inject it into a patient.

  • Publication number: 20100176584
Abstract: A female connector (100) to be connected to a male connector (170) having a tubular section (172), out of which a liquid-like substance flows, is disclosed. The female connector has an adaptor (110) installed on the outer peripheral surface of the tubular section, and a handle (120) fitted on the adaptor. The adaptor has a tube-shaped section (112) having an opening (119a) at one end. The tube-shaped section includes an insertion section (119) into which the tubular section is inserted from the opening, and the insertion section has flexibility and elasticity. The handle has a rigidity higher than that of the insertion section of the adaptor. There is provided movement limitation means that limits a range in which the handle is capable of moving relative to the adaptor from an end of the adaptor on an opposite side of the opening to an end thereof on the opening side in a direction of a center axis (111) of the adaptor.
