  • Publication number: 20220402337
Abstract: A vehicle window glass (10) includes a first glass sheet (1), a second glass sheet (2) and an interlayer film (3) sandwiched between a second surface (S2) of the first glass sheet and a third surface (S3) of the second glass sheet. For weight reduction, at least one of the glass sheets (1, 2) has a thickness of 2.0 mm or smaller. The interlayer film (3) has a main part (4) provided with a rigid layer and a peripheral part (5) formed of a non-rigid layer. The peripheral part (5) is disposed along an upper side of the vehicle window glass (10) which is exposed to air. Contact of water with the rigid layer of the main part (4) is prevented by the non-rigid layer of the peripheral part (5). The rigid layer has a water content controlled to 0.5% or lower as measured by near-infrared spectroscopy.

Abstract: An automotive laminated glass includes a thermoplastic interlayer film, a curved first glass sheet, and a curved second glass sheet. The thermoplastic interlayer film is disposed between the first and second glass sheets. The first glass sheet is a 0.7- to 3-mm thick non-chemically strengthened glass sheet including a convex-side first main surface and a concave-side second main surface facing the thermoplastic interlayer film. The second glass sheet is an ion-exchanged, 0.3- to 1.5-mm thick chemically strengthened glass sheet including a convex-side third main surface facing the thermoplastic interlayer film and a concave-side fourth main surface. The second glass sheet is thinner than the first glass sheet, and is adjusted to have a curvature equal to the curvature of the first glass sheet. A compressive stress layer on the concave-side fourth main surface is thicker than a compressive stress layer on the convex-side third main surface.

  • Patent number: 10782579
Abstract: First and second gate lines respectively extend in first and second directions in a display area. The second gate line is electrically connected to the first gate line and extends in the second direction in the display area. The second gate line is electrically connected to the first gate line outside the display area. A conductive layer may be disposed between the second gate line and a source line, and the second gate line may be electrically connected to the first gate line in the display area. To the conductive layer, a potential identical to a common potential or a ground potential is applied. An arrangement where two or more second gate lines overlap the source line may be employed. Transition of a potential of a gate signal from an on potential to an off potential may be made in two or more stages.
