    Abstract: A terminal includes: a communication unit configured to perform transmission and reception in a first RAT (Radio Access Technology) and to perform sensing in a second RAT; and a control unit configured to control communications in the first RAT. The communication unit receives information related to a first resource reservation by another terminal in the first RAT, the communication unit detects information related to a second resource reservation by another terminal in the second RAT, the control unit determines a set of resources based on a result of performing, based on information related to the first resource reservation, resource exclusion from available resource candidates in the first RAT in a physical layer, and selects a resource from the set of resources based on the information related to the second resource reservation in a MAC (Medium Access Control) layer, and the communication unit performs transmission to another terminal by using the selected resource.
