    Abstract: In a differential device, outer end surface of pinion shaft faces inner space of transmission case. A bottomed hollow portion is formed in the pinion shaft such that at least part of the bottomed hollow portion is surrounded by rotation sliding portion between the pinion shaft and pinion, the bottomed hollow portion having one end opened in the outer end surface of the pinion shaft and the other end closed. An oil guiding hole is provided in peripheral wall of the bottomed hollow portion, the oil guiding hole being capable of guiding lubricant oil in the bottomed hollow portion to the rotation sliding portion using centrifugal force.
