  • Publication number: 20230280844
Abstract: A coordinate input device is capable of enabling efficient input work by configuring an operation part so as to be operable by a hand opposite to a hand holding an indicator. The coordinate input device includes a position detection sensor which, in operation, detects a position indicated by an indicator, a casing including a rear surface and housing the position detection sensor, the rear surface facing an input surface, the input surface being a surface on which an input operation for inputting the position indicated by the indicator is performed and corresponding to a position detection region of the position detection sensor, and at least one grip part disposed on the rear surface of the casing are included. The at least one grip part includes a projecting portion that projects in a direction intersecting the rear surface and one or more operation parts are disposed on the projecting portion.

  • Publication number: 20230144941
Abstract: According to one aspect, it becomes possible to easily modify a 3D object which is displayed in a virtual reality space. A method is performed by a computer configured to be communicable with a position detection device that includes a drawing surface and that, in operation, detects a position of an electronic pen on the drawing surface. The method includes rendering, in a virtual reality space, a first object that is a 3D object, rendering, near the first object, a display surface that is a 3D object, rendering, on the display surface, a 3D line that is a 3D object generated based on the position of the electronic pen on the drawing surface, wherein the position of the electronic pen is detected by the position detection device, and outputting the first object, the display surface, and the 3D line, which are the 3D objects, to a display.

  • Patent number: 11614808
Abstract: Provided is an electronic pen including a core body formed of a conductive material, the core body including a pen tip, and a tubular casing that is formed of a conductive material and has the core body disposed in a tip end part of the tubular casing. The tubular casing includes a plurality of tubular casings having a same axis. The tubular casing has a shortened state in which the tubular casings overlap each other. The tubular casing also has a lengthened state in which the tubular casings are extended and overlap each other less than the tubular casings overlap each other when the tubular casing has the shortened state.
