  • Publication number: 20240347924
Abstract: In a conventional antenna device, transmission radio waves transmitted from a transmitting antenna traveling directly to a receiving antenna are blocked by a shield wall disposed between the receiving antenna and the transmitting antenna. However, some of the transmission radio waves are diffracted at the edge of the shield wall and enter the receiving antenna as diffracted waves, affecting the reception of the reception radio waves. In view of this, the shield wall and a polarized wave converter unit are disposed between the transmitting antenna unit and the receiving antenna unit. As a result, vertically polarized wave components of the diffracted waves are converted by the polarized wave converter unit to circularly polarized wave components that are less affecting the reception of the reception radio waves in the receiving antenna, and the diffracted waves are prevented from affecting the receiving operation of the receiving antenna.

  • Patent number: 11368834
Abstract: An in-vehicle mobile station is presented. When a user purchases vehicle including in-vehicle mobile station, s/he operates his/her communication device and in-vehicle mobile station to write a profile in a SIM of in-vehicle mobile station and to activate the SIM. Specifically, the user initially operates communication device to register a profile to be written in the SIM of in-vehicle mobile station, in contract information management device. Subsequently, the user operates in-vehicle mobile station to write the profile registered in contract information management device, in in-vehicle mobile station, and to activate the mobile station.

  • Patent number: 6459991
Abstract: The present invention provides a collision in right/left turn prevention system which can automatically stop a vehicle even when a driver of the vehicle can not correctly grasp a course of a vehicle running in the counter direction because of the road line form or because the counter vehicle is hid behind other vehicles, or when a velocity of the counter vehicle is faster than that estimated by the driver.

  • Patent number: 6360171
Abstract: A system-enabled vehicle entering a crossing warns a driver of the vehicle that a possibility of bumping exists, thereby allowing the driver to brake and stop the vehicle in an emergency in front of the crossing. When the system determines a possibility of bumping with another vehicle entering the crossing exists, the system continuously provides controls for decelerating and stopping the vehicle in a range from a point where the system can decelerate the vehicle in an emergency with time allowance for stopping the vehicle in front of the crossing up to a point in front of the crossing.

  • Patent number: 6337637
Abstract: The collision with pedestrian prevention system according to the present invention comprises pedestrian detection means, road surface conditions detection means, road information accumulation means, vehicle position detection means, vehicle state detection means, processing means, information output means, and vehicle control means. Because of the configuration, the driver is alerted the presence of any pedestrian on a pedestrian's crossing and can immediately correct operations for handling the vehicle without being perplexed by the information just about to finish crossing the road. This system works only when there is the possibility of collision between a pedestrian on a pedestrian's crossing and a vehicle, and provides automatic controls for decelerating or stopping the vehicle when the driver can stop the vehicle by emergently braking over a distance from the vehicle to the pedestrian's crossing.

  • Patent number: 6103026
Abstract: A corrosion-resistant copper material has a surface layer of a copper alloy containing 10-50 at % (i.e. % by atom) of silicon and of 10-1,000 .ANG. thick. It is produced simply by annealing a copper material containing 0.01-5 at % of silicon at 100-600.degree. C. in a hydrogen-containing gas. Because of its excellent resistance to surface corrosion due to heat and aging, the resulting copper material lends itself well to automotive and electrical applications requiring heat resistance, and is also suitable for use in electrical wire and in leadframes for semiconductor devices.
